Heyo, you use the pistol because Tex Machina is your sponsor for the quest, and they want you to use the gun they made As the quest stands, I had super issues with this. I did it kinda easily. Maybe about 7 games. Got about 20% each game but got knocked down a few times.

I did it and if I can do something in pvp anyone can. Just play defensively and let enemies come to you and try for those kill steaks

I did it legit. Just because you are having trouble with it doesn't meant everyone else cheated. I won't hate on you for having trouble tho. Let me just say, it is doable, tho it will take a while probably took me like 15-20 matches in all. Use the best special and heavy you have, even if they are year 1. Use whatever super class you usually net the most kills with. Play smart, if you're like me, you are usually probably more concerned with having alot of kills and less concerned with k/d, as long as it stays above like 1.5, and you rush in alot. Don't play like that. Don't camp, cause that's lame, but try to avoid engagements where you will be outnumbered. Don't push the enemy unless you are supported by your team. You'll get it, just hang in there.

It really separates the actual Elite of TLW and the people who performed well because it was a little overpowered. I love it.

You don't loose points if you have it unequiped. Here's a trick: charge super, equip last word, kill everyone with a super, unequip it, rinse, repeat, profit!

I was having a tough time with it too, but I got a 15 kill streak one game and got 50% of the way there. With about 2 more games I got it. Just gotta get one of those games. If you know your team is losing, just swap primaries so you don't lose any.

I'm not the best crucible player, but I finished the whole quest line in one day... And now my chaperone is my baby.

Build up your super, get heavy ammo, THEN equip last word and go on a kill streak. After your super is used up and you have no heavy left switch to another primary. It can take a few games this way but you'll get it eventually.

I did it on my own. No boosting. You can use any other weapons, including supers and grenades as long as TLW is equipped in your primary slot......so. It takes time. It's not impossible

Play classic mode, most players in there don't have TTK and are obviously not really into destiny. Try to get some streaks going and You'll be done in no time.

Bonuses for streaks. You can get a 5 kill steak then die 3 times in a row and still make better progress then just going 3 for 1 every time.
