So I reported someone for cheating
I noticed this a hunter going into his menu in mid super. Shadow shot for days! At least eight time he used it and sky rocketed him to the top in this rumble match. I decided to message him for cheating.
His response and I quote:
[b]"I will message you in a week and tell you I won't get banned"[/b]
This is exactly the scum of this community that needs to get banned
Why do you need to cheat in a non competitive game mode! Or cheat at all!
The sad thing is that he probably won't get banned.

Over 200 replies! And trending.the fact that iron banana was this week only made this worse.
Only 400 replies. Did not expect this at all. Ppl saying it's not cheating and ppl saying it is. I've noticed ppl saying it isn't being very defensive. Bungie may not ban ya but hey let us know if you do to warn others that may be doing it. I think honestly if bungie were more explicit with their stance on this it would make the community be more at ease especially with iron banana. I've ran into this today about 5/6 games and in sometimes in teams of three. Might I say not all hunters are bad I messaged one and he said he was sorry that he was only trying it out. Not even mad.
I wonder if I can get to 1000 replies.

1 AntwortenI love using my graviton helm and playing as nightstalker in both pve and pvp, but until this glitch is fixed I'll stick to gunslinger for pvp so I don't get any of the asshats that throw around reports simply for me using the helm and quiver even if you dont glitch.

4 AntwortenJust ran a strike with a Katniss Everdeen spammer, if not for the fact that i was running a bounty i would have left him to run it alone since all he did the whole strike was that glitch. Still made him solo it, i used all the orbs he made to drop a bubble every 10 seconds and have a nice sit. To that hunter i say: Really man? Lvl 40 300 light and your running a lvl 16 strike just to spam that crap? Turn your cloak in......

4 AntwortenRan into a team of hunters all doing this glitch today. Reported them all, and messaged them to please stop using shadow shot glitch. Simple as that. One said "reporting doesn't do anything I'm so sscarredd." His and my exact words. People like that are toxic to the gaming community.

1 AntwortenComing from a Titan... I've seen Titans do the same a few weeks back with my own eyes. Now it's Hunters. Is there a lesson to be learned here? Yes. Assholes will always be assholes. The player you refer to deserves a temporary ban. Bungie has stated that this glitch is an unintended cheat that they aim to fix. Using it now (especially in Iron Banner) is both cheap and banable. Just don't go calling out all Hunters. Some of them are just as pissed as we are.

15 AntwortenDid people get reported for pushing Atheon off ? How about Crota ? The Templar ? The loot cave ? Anyone ever get banned for any of these things ? Probably not, stop wasting your time. They said they are working on a fix. Reporting 37,654 people a day won't help anything.

Bungie puts this facade of caring, but they really don't. Halo 2 was stuffed full of mods and Bungie never tried to stop it. Halo 3 was full of boosters and Derankers, and once again, Bungie never tried to stop it, and Halo Reach also had a lot of boosters. They may ban a few hundred people, but that's acceptable losses to make the rest of the community think that they're doing something, which will then ensure that the community continues to buy their product. They don't care about you or the cheaters, all they care about is the money.

I ran I to an infinite storm trance in iron banana tonight too... Wiped our whole team 3 times in a Row. His reign of terror lasted a solid five minutes if glided from one end of the map to the other killing everything. I think it had something to do with him lagswitching but I can't be sure. I can only be sure we all reported the hell out of him.

I got 5 reports on me today because people thought i was using the arrow glitch. I use blood bound in pvp... And i don't even have the helmet..

The best thing to do is get everyone on your team and the other team to spam him with cheating reports.

Report them multiple times, so they're less likely to get looked over. -blam!- those guys.

Ran into a guy on my team ( (han) solo Iron Banner,) waited till the last minute or two and -blam!-ing zoned B capture out of the game. Disgusted me. I reported him. Not ashamed at all.
