Edit: I'm not saying we should have it all. We prolly should have fewer hammers and maybe even a nerf to mobility. My point is that I believe our increased damage resistance shouldn't be an issue (though health regen on kill should be reworked)
I agree that sunbreakers are cray in pvp, and I stand by Cauterize being to blame since it makes us impossible to die as long as we keep getting kills.
But I always see the argument "I can't one shot snipe ____ in the head so its broken!" I understand snipers take skill to use but they shouldn't be regarded as this super weapon, end-all answer.
Sunbreakers are titans. Titans dominate the armor stat perk while warlocks get recovery and hunters agility. We have the ability to max armor more than the rest because we stand as the functioning tank build class in the game. When we pop a super as tanks, I feel like its excusable to be left barely alive if we get sniped in the nogin once.
Same goes for warlocks getting constant melee shields for thier specialty in recovery, or hunters ability to constantly dodge and become invisible to get out of danger. Titans are walls, and it'll take more damage to being one down than the other classes enough said.

2 AntwortenHigh impact Snipers allow you to shutdown anything at range. It's a high skill PvP tactic. The only super that cannot be sniped out of is the titan smash with unstoppable on. In other words, to achieve the tank, they need to spec for it; a clear trade on and off. Sunbreakers get it natively, as well as the range to kill anyone trying to snipe them. Can't have both. Balance and trade offs. That's the idea.

You've awoken the hive of snipers

4 AntwortenIts called balancing. Currently sunbreaker super has it all. There is absolutely no downside to that super. That is what makes it op compared to the others. -most damage resistance -one hit kill hammers (except other sunbreakers and fist of havoc prolly) -mobile super -you can throw out 6-8 hammers (golden gun 3 with exotic helmet still only 4 l. Lel) -in general you only have to throw them roughly in the direction of the enemy -hammers track a bit -do aoe -chain explosions -a kill heals you Seriously. What does that super NOT have?

6 AntwortenTitans need to stop bringing up "we're tanks we're supposed to have the most armor" in crucible. All values are slated across the board besides your bars, that isn't an arguement for crucible.
-
Because everyone wants to be able to one shot everyone else, but they don't want anyone else to be able to one shot them.
-
It's more a fact that the sunbreaker can take 2 headshots from blackspindle which does the same crit damage as sleeper simulant in a shot. You can't shotgun a sunbreaker around the corner or have any real hope to take it down before dying. That is why people mention snipers
-
Considering that you have Heath regeneration too, it means that wounding a sunbreaker is almost pointless.

1 AntwortenYou can survive a sniper shot, no problem. Just can't have those nova bomb heal hammers AND survive a sniper shot
-
lol Titans aren't tanks. Same as hunters and warlocks, they just complete the generic trifecta of fantasy archetypes: knight, wizard, and rogue. But at the same time, Warlocks don't get to cast as much "magic" as you would expect a wizard to. And hunters aren't as stealthy or as fast as you might expect the archetype they portray to be.

1 AntwortenThat's be fine if the raw lethality of your hammer didn't rival golden gun.

15 AntwortenIn reality though you have to admit Agility is absolutely useless in most situations. I love my Hunter but sometimes I wish we had some other kind of superior stat or that agility meant we could actually do something useful.
