I know, it's an article on Forbes, but he makes a great point. It honestly feels like they are trying to be sly about nuking the economy ever so slightly. Once everybody starts to whine about needing a buff for materials and such, Activision will swoop in with some new inventory from Tess to "help" us.
Does nobody else see this? What reason could they possibly have to nuke armor materials and weapon parts out of all things? I can understand strange coins if we are trying to be fair, but not the others.
Is it to slow people down from reaching 310? Think about it:
Less strange coins, less engrams to get at 310 so we can't infuse. Less armor materials so it takes awhile to upgrade gear and infuse. Same with weapon parts. Motes, prevent power leveling of weapons and factions.

1 AntwortenIf you dont have a lot of armor mats or weapon mats you're new to this game and need to go play vanilla destiny where you spent hours to get enough spinmetal to upgrade one legendary. The only thing that makes me mad is the nerfing of strange coins dropping thats their way of making it so players cant just get tons of exotics and make you grind all week to get maybe 100 more if your lucky.

I wouldn't call Destiny's items an economy. Cause... 1. Items aren't affected by their quantity among the player base, aka no economic value. 2. Items have no demonstrable value, since there is no player trading. If there was, we would figure out an items value through the exchanges that happen.

I am worried but can't saying as nothing has happened yet. For all we know they just want it to take longer to level up because I was levelling up like a madman and never ran out of Mats.

1 AntwortenTTK was really solid at launch. Not perfect, but it definitely resurrected a lot of the bored "haters" with this game. I was enjoying it. Now I feel like I'm back to grinding to simply play the basics of the game. I feel like each day this game is slowly on the downfall again, worse than before. Bungie really needs to take control of this situation otherwise they are going to a lose a large following of their most loyal players, including myself.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Smarkdow: 10/15/2015 8:06:24 PMIt's to lengthen the grind players have to go through. They want people to keep playing the game for as long as possible, and what better way to do that then to artificially lengthen the amount of time it takes to max out? You know, besides making the game fun to play and rewarding. Who wants that? Even though it isn't technically one, Destiny has the worst elements of an MMO with none of the good stuff.
