Why do people cry about It so much?? The game lags when you use HoS so you could essentially be hammering someone for the entire super and not die. Happens to me all the time maybe when PvP is non-laggy and it's not the same bullshit weapons they'll nerf it. People also complain about not dying to a sniper headshot...really? I've died to a sniper with a minuscule of impact in one shot

If there's no one around when you pop it, it's not a waste. You've got 26 seconds to walk to the other side of the map at a leisurely pace, unlike the other supers it's being compared to. It's a total waste of super for anyone else (except stormcallers) The only argument I've seen for "its not OP" is "oh, but the hammers have travel time and fly in an arc" Well guess what, that is 100% offset by splash damage and tracking, even if you manage to dodge, if it lands within a few metres of you then game over. This is why comparing to GG's instant travel time is a no-go, because they actually need to hit their target. Come on, man. Who's really still defending this? Edit: Call me nightstalker, cuz even on the forums I'm shutting down sunbreakers. Yet to hear a relevant counter-argument from any of you.

Get rid of the insane Proximity the hammers have! Everyone is asking for armor reduction, getting rid of perks but none if those will matter if a titan kills you with a hammer that was 7 feet away...

The fact the hammer can prox detonate is the most OP thing of all I think. Cauterize def makes them a titanium roving tank, but having some garbage player being able to rack up 6-8 kills by having hammers curve slightly and explode from 10 ft away while lobbing them blindly is what puts it over the top in my book Also, found out today you can actually destroy the hammers while in flight, took out two with a machine gun before I had to reload. Fairly nice to know, but impossible to destroy enough to safely kill sunbreaker or get away

7 AntwortenHammers do not need to be nerfed at all. What does need to be changed is the health regeneration and take the armor down slightly to be on par with the blade dancer. That's the only thing that makes a real difference. The big question is can bungie do this without screwing the PvE players.

Just an armor reduction so that they can be killed with high impact sniper head shot like any other super.

I killed a Sunbreaker in his super yesterday with a headshot and a bodyshot with a sniper, so I think its fine where it is.
