I tried telling myself that there's nothing over-powered about a Sunbreaker Titan but after playing Iron Banner last night with people in my skill gap, I can no longer deny that the HoS Super is broken.
Golden Gun shots require more than 1 shot on a fully armored Titan.
Blade Dance cannot even get in proximity to do anything.
Shotgun+Melee leaves a dent and nothing more.
Headshots with snipers cannot kill
Like what else is there?
Running is probably the most effective way to combat it but if it's not gonna kill me, it's going to destroy my team.
I didn't know how much of an issue this was until I played control since I normally play rumble or 3v3 game types but this broken ass class needs to be rebalanced so that it's super isn't breaking pvp and to where the titan can offer more to a team outside of it's super.

I see a huge difference when I use HoS, compared to Blade Dancer. A Blade Dancer's super is hilariously brief compared to HoS, especially considering the fact that you actually have to melee your opponent with arc blade, whereas with a Titan, you simply have to throw hammers from a range. I agree that HoS should probably be changed.

It'll make selfrez clutches impossible, that's forsure

It's not broken at all... I guarantee you stormcallers get more kills per super. But anyway if they're going to do anything they need to take the more hammer+bigger explosion perk and change it to something else. That way they have to use the overshield sunspot perk which you can't have the heal on fire ability kills perk. The issue is they essentially have two perks for more hammers but the more hammer bigger explosion perk allows us to use the healing perk on top of it. Making it hard to kill one. So make us use the overshield perk for it instead.

I just wish more of my teammates would save their supers for tactical use instead of just trying to stroke their KD as many times as they can. Especially in matches with multiple Sunbreakers. I can stop one, but after that.....
-
You can kill with a snipe, just depends on what they're running
-
I use to main warlock BTW. If that means anything when it shouldn't. Why does being hunter invalidate his opinion or being a titan strengthen it. How about we grow up and talk about the issue instead of insulting each other. Sunbreaker has a bunch of hammers, really good range but has super high armor and health regen. All I want and most of us want to have a chance to beat HoS reasonably. Every other super has a chance to defeat them maybe with the exception of NB and Foh. But you could avoid them with blink, hell they were annoying but 3+ kills were risky and hard to get. Hunters were always squishy so a shotgun around the corner or just team shooting with another dude was 8/10 successful, or a snipe. Same with stormcaller except you either have to snipe far away or quick shotgun but shotguning only worked if you were hiding. HoS is not in a reasonable armor level is a good super and has too much armor. You still have your health regen. It will still be good why do people act like reducing armor would ruin the whole super. P.S have titans never been killed by HoS and been mad about how it has too high armor. Frankly Destiny is going to die out if Bungie are being retarted in balancing not only in PvP but in their economy in general. Their game is a mess Halo 5, B03, and Fallout are going to crush Destiny and it cannot withstand the test of time at this rate. They have to timegate content so people can play the game longer.

8 AntwortenHeadshot with luck in the chamber will one shot. Only if it's the LITC round. One shot will give it half of its health bar left without it. Sleep stimulant will kill him in one hit, that's it. Rockets are two, snipers are two, GG is two. It takes three hits from a blade dancer. Nova bomb is one, storm called gets rekt if they don't get landfall off, Sun singers are useless and nights talkers can cancel it but usually die whilst doing so. So it's beatable. Unfortunately it's just very difficult to beat. I main a hunter but I'm not crying here. I'm just saying, maybe a minor tweak the armour. I was on the Titans side when blade dancers were unstoppable. But now I'm on the Hunter and warlocks side. It's super strong. He's a walking tank that's SUPER FUN to use. But it needs a tiny bit less armour. Maybe just for PVP? It's a great Subclass for PVE. I feel it's used as intended. But this is blood spec death Knights all over again (WOW fans will know what I mean)

3 AntwortenNot only are you wrong about Shotguns, Sniper head shots, or even this subclass being overpowered. To top it all off you main a Hunter on PS and Xbox!
-
Every time I see a post calling Sunbreaker OP there is at least one person who mains a Titans posting that data from Destinytracker saying "Oh see the data says Titans have the least amount of super kills so it's not OP!" I haven't looked but I know it's there.
-
Golden gun only does not 1 shot if they are running max armour and even then a tickle would kill them
-
1 AntwortenOKAY. thats not true about snipers cant one shot. I have done it, and have proof for you as well. Sorry that you cant get them. https://youtu.be/QMssgP03voY

9 AntwortenActually sniper headshots can kill them, I have killed a lot of sunbreakers with snipers.

Its ok with how laggy IB is i'm lucky if 1 person dies from a hammer i hit them with. Every game i land a hammer on someone or next to them and they take either no damage or lose half their shield.

73 AntwortenNot my post, but you people need facts Here are some numbers for you all courtesy of DTR's community statistics I also didn't realize this forum suddenly became somewhere that requires perfect statistical presentation. Super kills (PVP) Hunter Nightstalker 54,549,041 (4.90%) Titan Sunbreaker 30,933,744 (2.78%) Warlock Stormcaller 28,664,865 (2.58%) Grenade kills (PVP) Hunter Nightstalker 31,135,311 (4.11%) Warlock Stormcaller 26,611,954 (3.51%) Titan Sunbreaker 16,019,668 (2.11%) Melee kills (PVP) Warlock Stormcaller 38,775,697 (3.16%) Hunter Nightstalker 32,853,317 (2.68%) Titan Sunbreaker 29,285,716 (2.39%) Sooooooo. You were saying how sunbreakers get sooooooooo many kills with their overpowered hammers yet they still have less super kill then the hunter SUPPORT class. Class breakdown 33.5% warlock with 3% being stormcaller 32.3% titan with 3% being sunbreaker 34.2% hunter with 4% being nightstalker These are updated every 15 minutes by destiny tracker. I didn't collect these. The low percentage is because the subclass percentage is based upon what percentage of tracked games they have been in. actual numbers for classes for you Warlock 1,854,319 Titan 1,786,529 Hunter 1,890,494 here are the stats for all subclasses. These have been updated so the numbers should be different from the ones above Super kills (PVP) Hunter Bladedancer 201,044,918 (18.06%) Hunter Gunslinger 199,808,670 (17.95%) Titan Striker 186,291,620 (16.73%) Warlock Sunsinger 152,393,823 (13.69%) Warlock Voidwalker 131,789,812 (11.84%) Titan Defender 124,945,236 (11.22%) Hunter Nightstalker 55,925,202 (5.02%) Titan Sunbreaker 31,783,917 (2.85%) Warlock Stormcaller 29,448,846 (2.64%) Grenades: Warlock Sunsinger 174,401,439 (22.98%) Hunter Bladedancer 121,434,967 (16.00%) Hunter Gunslinger 114,520,912 (15.09%) Warlock Voidwalker 108,105,902 (14.24%) Titan Striker 94,212,758 (12.41%) Titan Defender 70,645,856 (9.31%) Hunter Nightstalker 31,920,719 (4.21%) Warlock Stormcaller 27,326,515 (3.60%) Titan Sunbreaker 16,443,142 (2.17%) Melee: Warlock Sunsinger 284,839,168 (23.19%) Titan Striker 203,237,949 (16.55%) Warlock Voidwalker 177,393,092 (14.44%) Hunter Bladedancer 170,332,624 (13.87%) Titan Defender 153,350,640 (12.49%) Hunter Gunslinger 135,263,513 (11.01%) Warlock Stormcaller 39,855,529 (3.25%) Hunter Nightstalker 33,721,785 (2.75%) Titan Sunbreaker 30,104,721 (2.45%) Okay, it seems there's way to many people sticking to the argument, There are more Hunters than Warlocks/Titans therefore they're are going to have more kills. If you agree, then this is for you. These stats were derived from a sizable portion of the population using the most recent statistic. 5.54 million games played as a specific subclass total. Hunter 1,894,406 Warlock 1,858,093 Titan 1,790,357 4% of Titans' and Warlocks' tracked games were played as Sunbreakers and Stormcallers. 5% of the Hunters' tracked games were played as Nightstalkers. Those of you with even a little bit of background in math already start to see a problem here ;) We can conclude that: 92524 games were played as a Nightstalker 75619 games were played as a Stormcaller 71461 games were played as a Sunbreaker And now to put everything on an equal playing field. Super Kills Avg per: Nightstalker - 619 Sunbreaker - 474 Stormcaller - 419 Melee Kills Avg per: Stormcaller - 566 Sunbreaker - 448 Nightstalker - 375 Grenade Kill Avg per: Stormcaller - 387 Nightstalker - 354 Sunbreaker - 245 Total Kills Avg per: Stormcaller - 1372 Nightstalker - 1348 Sunbreaker - 1167 Hmm, would you look a that. Seems like it wouldn't matter if there was an equal amount of Hunters, Warlocks and Titans. Hunters and Warlocks would be neck and neck yet Titans would still come in dead last. I wonder how such an OP subclass ends up with the least amount of kill source: http://destinytracker.com/destiny/population

3 AntwortenIt is balanced against the NEW supers, unlike the old supers which are not balanced against anything. Step 1. STOP comparing HoS to old supers Step 2. Realize that the new supers are balanced against each other Step 3. Supers are supposed to combat supers, otherwise they would not be supers. Step 4. Profit and stop crying P.S. i dont even Main a Titan, I main a Hunter in PvE and Main a Warlock in PvP. I love all my new classes though. So stop comparing the classes to others that are sort of like it. Because the only other option is to make them all cookie cutter and defeat the purpose of even having them.

1 hit hammer kill = golden gun -but Hunters only get 3 shots (4 max) while Titans get 6+ Gain health on kills (either hammer or melee) -but Hunter needs to melee using bladedancer It is a blade dancer plus gunslinger in one BUT with armor and more shots and better health gain How can people say that is a fair super? lol Just think about it.

If the subclass in general sucks than they can have a good super. Remember it's a titan with T-rex arms and no blink in the end.
