How many other Guardians do you kill during their supers?
No bs answers, honest truth. Because since launch I can count on one hand the number of times I've killed a striker mid super.
Nova Bomb maybe a 8 to 12 since launch and it's the one I've died to the second most.
I've yet to kill a Hunter firing Shadowshot (and don't really see how you could except maybe GG or a rocket).
Killed a couple Warlocks new supers, one with 2 Rockets and a few with FoH and HoS, but have died during HoS to them easily as many times.
Golden Gun, I've probably killed a dozen mid super since launch.
Arcblade I've killed the most of the offensive supers, probably 2/3 with FoH but it's easily the super I've died to the most and its not even close.
Radiance I've killed the second most, but not that many run it.
The only one that is consistently smearable is the poor Defender bubble made for FoH popping.
Conversely, I've run every super in PvP except the new Hunter and Warlock ones and I would put HoS right in the middle next to Arcblade for survivability. I'd rank them
FoH
Nova Bomb
Golden Gun
HoS
Arcblade
Radiance
Defender
And from what I've seen, Shadowshot looks like it will slot in at #2 on the list while the new Lock ability is right by HoS.
I know it sucks seeing that glowing Titan running at you, but here are a couple other things to consider.
1. There is a very loud audio queue when they pop HoS. It's not hard to just run from them when you hear it. Arcblade had one too, but good luck outrunning a Hunter.
2. Save your super for them if they bother you that much. All the Hunters bitched year one about FoH and called it panic because we'd use it just on them. Point was, saving it for them and preventing 5 kills was worth as much as getting 2 or 3 kills ourselves.
The last thing I would add is that if you're going to complain about something and call for nerfs, please at least play it first. You all would be surprised at how many things you actually die to in HoS and how much more accurate GG is.
Thank-you.

Although I agree with you I loved year 1 cuase I could just foh everything but I have to be close to use foh and hammers even survive suck on bombs plus there is no cool down inbetween hammers like solar warlock have on their bombs plus blade dancer can't survive two shots from horseman Titan takes three they even survive nova if you have the spilt into 3 option just like power rangers it's be op time.

Bearbeitet von Arman GT: 11/8/2015 8:10:57 AMWell to how many during their supers is relevant to bladedancers, golden gun, radiance, and defender (as their supers aren't one-and-done things, they're long lasting continous supers. Golden Gunners have no mitigation so if you find one in the back then it's not hard to kill. Blade dancers fall to the infamous shotgun-melee (with lag, you'll die, but so will they) radiance can get spawn killed easily (if they're thug and use the less-damage taken, then that's completely dependent on the sunsinger's skill). did that answer? Honestly, titan is a TITAN. Why is their mobiltiy ridiculous with hammers? Let's just jump way up in the air constantly over and over. Keep the armor, keep the deadly hammers, but seriously tone down the mobiltiy (apply something that gives an internal cooldown after jumping before you throw a hammer (when you reach max height, so people can choose whether they should wait til max height or not)

3 AntwortenI wish I could put up my friends clips in one game he made 15 super kills a seventh column a reaper and a double

I've killed plenty. Just reduce the armor, and maybe the explosion radius, a little and it's fine. The class is imbalanced in a different way. Its super is the best in PvP, but it's mediocre outside of it. The subclass should be better outside of its super and the super should be toned down a little.

I wish i knew how to send clips from xbox, i suck with hos and i still get at a minimum 3+ kills per super. the only way to not get a kill with it is if u call it in mid air and they are staring at you or if you fall off a map. If someone tries to super 9.9/10 they are going to die with you

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kone19ps: 10/15/2015 12:52:41 PMWe called it fist of panic mockingly because it was a waste to use on one person. Also running in control isn't always an option. You cant just abandon a point because one sunbreaker can sit on it and kill anything around for almost the neutralization and capture. Every other non-one shot super has a counter. Gunslinger has no damage resistance and blade dancer has very low resistance and is close range. Radiance has slightly more resistance but only enhanced abilities no special attacks. Nightstalker is the big counter to sunbreaker yet I'm now seeing shadowshot not even suppress Titans and its takes at least 2-3 shots to kill one rather than one. Night stalker also has pitiful damage resistance often just getting hammered right out of the air. Stormcaller can't do enough damage before they are dead. Titans on the other hand have a mobile super thats a one hit to most everything including other sunbreakers. Are mobile. Have more shots than any other super. Is ranged. Has an aoe. And can have your choice of 2 tracking, healing, larger aoe with chaining fire, or sunspots with overshield. The potential to control the area is unheard of in any other class. Siphon some of that power to defender and rebalance them both. This stupid oh now we have a good super after so long it's fair is a poor argument. Screw bungies stupid seasons of things. The game needs to be balance because you know what follows every season? A wave of quits frustrated the game won't stay balanced

I like how the three supers you list are ones that last a total of 5 seconds maybe. Nova bomb? Really? Is that even the same tier of super? Why can't people compare supers that are similar. Bladedancer, storm caller, and sunbreaker are the same category. They all last about 7 seconds, kill a lot, and also gain a stronger shield.
-
Sun breaker is fine... Void bow never ending sucks.
-
1. Hammer of Sol 2. Stormcaller 3. Arc blade 4. Golden Gun 5. Striker 6. Radiance 7. Shadowshot 8. Nova Bomb 9. Bubble (PVP ONLY)
-
I constantly kill people during their super, even strikers. Every class except Sunbreakers can be one hit by a high impact sniper. Sunbreakers take 188 damage point blank.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Renefrere: 10/15/2015 4:08:52 AMSunbreaker armor boost when hammer of sol is active is way to high, they can tank a rocket to the face, the only weapon that can kill in one shot is the sleeper simulant body shot or efrideet spear final round headshot. Not sure about efrideet spear though. I'd rank the effectiveness of all the supers like this in pvp. 1. Hammer of Sol 2. Storm Trance 3. Arc blade/Radiance Tied 4. Golden Gun 5. Nova bomb 6. Shadow Shot 7. Fist of Havoc 8. Ward of Dawn I ranked Shadow shot below nova bomb because it's WAY harder to land and radiance tied with arc blade because you can tank so much with radiant skin and the perk that gives more armor when using a solar subclass even though you can go on outrageous sprees with hungering blade on arc blade. BTW this is an opinion, don't go full caps insulting me while heavily breathing on the key pad.

Ive killed everything except the sunbreaker and nightstalker with normal guns

1 AntwortenI hate u warlock hunter players who bitch about titan being good and that they can kill you. You people want the warlock and hunter class to be gods ( hint on sunsinger self resurrect and over shield). The titan finally got a class that fits the word titan and now you people are trying to get it nerfed because you a worried about the Titans actually being useful. You guys a just straight assholes.
-
Sleeper simulant can 1 shot EVERY KIND OF SUPERS including hammer of sol
-
i guess what makes people mad about it is the armor it gets and pared with cauterized it "CAN BE" abit..broken i guess instead of giving them a boost to armor (because its a ranged attack like GG/novabomb) just have it go off the based armor you have going into the fight and call it; because then it just boils down to ok popped my super time to out play people instead of ok go in to the middle of fire pop my super and just JESUS everyone to the fire pits of mom's spaghetti

Exactly!

For some reason they give it to supers that do high damage. Shadowshot is just as overpowered in this way and many others. Call me a hunter main if anything I guess, but I really play all of them and just care about game flow in general. Which the supers ruin the flow entirely with the least offending ones being defender, sunsinger, and golden gun. Golden gun is pushing it though, while the other two don't ruin the flow to me at all.
-
The fact that their armor stat is that of God is terrible, and having sunspots is even more horrifying, they can literally get a shield after every kill, if they so choose. I just want the Titan to be balanced and it clearly isn't.
-
2 AntwortenBearbeitet von WhitEWatchEs: 10/16/2015 12:36:44 AMIt's the fact that they get 7 hammers and their super doesn't last 1-2 seconds like fist of panic, or nova bomb. If the hammer was a one time attack or even 3 hammers it would hardly be such a issue. Also I play all 3 classes, and it's very obvious to me when I'm playing on my Titan how much easier it is.
-
That's all I'm trying to say we get one good super for Titans that doesn't make us a sitting duck and people go bananas and call for nerfs.
-
Did not read it all but to answer your question I have killed many and a SUNBREAKER only a few. The fact of the matter is that going against another super class is easy and rewarding a Titan however is just BS.
-
who cares if they nerf it... anyone who sucks at the crucible will still suck, it's not like we have our supers the whole match
-
7 AntwortenSo many people I see complaining about it have two of one class and zero Titans. So yeah you definitely have to play with something before knowin it's pro and cons. So many times people blame a super when it's really perk sacrificing that adds the extra they complain about. But in sunbreakers case it's more the all super related perks. It's bland every single other moment except when it's super is going. Except for the one that requires the super to be full. So many hunters used to say 'tough deal with it brah, get good, salty?' When talking about the once near indestructible blade dancer. But now they just whine. Even though nightstalker is one of the best subs in the game. And can shut down most supers. I don't even use my titan in pvp and I think it's fine. Strong and annoying but so are the others.
