Light level 287 Currently, how to improve? Tips ?

Do i keep farming till i hit the 290 mark? Heroic Strikes? Nightfall ? Complete quests? Court of Oryx ?

I wanna raid really bad, but it seems a bit anoying to find a group, especially via the forums.
Edit:
To clarify the top 3 tips i found usefull, here they are:
1. Court of Oyrx / Heroic Strikes
2. Exotic engrams u receive, wait with decrypting until your Light level 300~ (then theres a chance of getting 310 versions)
3. Get special from Vanguard Nightfall quest (300 shotty/Fusion), Get 300 artifact from Eris.

They're easier and the engrams you get will open relative to your light, so it doesn't matter how you obtained the engram. Therefore, you can get more engrams faster in 36 strikes because they're much easier. Use three of coins when you can, and eventually rng will get you there.

I just grinded Court of Oryx and heroic strikes. I am now level 295-ish. Also rank up a faction will doing the previous.

When you see the Cryptach make sure you are wearing your highest level gear and holding the highest weapomns

Leveling up factions is great; do your vanguard and crucible bounties. Strikes, strikes, and more strikes!

Me personally, I buy faction gear for each character(armor and weapons) and each character is dedicated to a specific Faction. Then I just do lots of strikes and Court of Oryx. Ive gotten lucky with 299-300 blues and ghosts

I will take you through the raid at your lvl as long as you can follow simple directions. As for gear. Do strikes and court of Oryx. You get rewards for helping other people do tier 2 and 3 runes not just your own runes. As long as you shoot the boss in higher tier runes you will get rewardz. Kind of cheesy to leech of higher lvls but hey the grind is real

1 AntwortenCourt of Oryx. It's fast and you get reasonably good drops from it. It's how I managed to get some of my armor up to a decent level. Now if it would just drop me some weapons I'd be golden.

Court of Oryx if theres a decent group there grinding all their runes. Heroic strikes def give better rewards. Usually get better stuff the higher you get too.

My advice, keep grinding vanguard strikes and get lucky drops. Oh and save all of the exotic engrams you get from three of coins untill you hit level 300 so you can get 310 exotics to level up your gear and weapons above 300. Also get those exotic swords.

Heroic strikes and court of oryx worked for me...i just hit 295, gonna try to find a raid group this week.

same answer. court of oryx, strikes. you can get tons of engrams that will lead to better armor, weapon infusing. also, things you dismantle will give you a bunch of armor material and weapon material you will definitely need later on. someone posted turning one engram at a time. I have had a lot of luck with blues turning into purples when I turn a bunch in consecutively.

Open your engrams one at a time, always equipping better gear before opening the next. Should help some.

Heroics & court... Infuse exotics into tower or raid gear.
