Well that pretty much solidifies it for me. The new economy changes plus just the constant bullshit already had one of may feet out the door. Makes me sad. I was ready to pay more for the game I thought this would be, stick through the bad times but now? Just uninterested. Not butthurt, I promise I'm leaving on a high note before this gets worse.
I'll play this iron banner, the hard raid, to finish what I've started. Should be just about the time for Halo 5 (: anyone else feel the same?

4 AntwortenI have the Taken King new and sealed on my desk. I was waiting to see what the feedback for the Taken King would be, and then consider installing it... but... well... I've grown disillusioned with this Bungie. I had a lot of hope for Destiny, hence the purchase of the expansion. It's been a lot of small things, a lot of hypocritical things, that have slowly built up over time and revealed the greed and the current mindset of this company. Firing Marty, the rewriting of the story, Luke Smith being a total dbag in the eurogamer interview--the Bungie I liked, the Bungie I loved (Joe, Marty), is gone. If anything, they are with 343i. Regarding the game, its been the schizophrenic changes to the leveling scheme, how Bungie keeps shifting back and forth between "Keep their old stuff powerful" and "make their old stuff worthless." I would get excited seeing Blades of Crota, the Fallen wolves patrolling... now its all "Taken, Taken, Taken." I miss the old stuff. It added variety in what was really a content starved world. What has hurt me most is how they made TDB and HoW so completely irrelevant. It felt like Destiny had been getting bigger, now we've just narrowed the scope. The straw that broke this camel's back was that they removed the urn of sacrifice quest. It's a tiny thing, I know. But we were promised that the whole TDB experience would continue into 2.0. We were told Eris would retire her bounties--apparently Bungie felt the Urn quest was more a bounty than a quest. If they even thought that far. It's a piece of grimoire score I can never get now, and as a day one player, who went through all the grinds, all the bullshit, who got that dumb moment's of triumph emblem... missing that one thing forever hurts. I've heard that while the narrative is better, the story still isn't. And it never did sound remotely interesting to me to begin with. Angry father wants to kill you because you killed his son, and he uses the Flood to fight you. Or something. Dumb. Still no mentions of the darkness and what the hell the darkness even is exactly. Now it seems like TTK is already getting stale, and with no big content updates on the horizon, I am thinking of not installing it and just moving on and sticking this on ebay for someone to find who doesn't know better. There are plenty of good games out there, especially shooters.

This game is literally holding me while I wait for fallout. I wish I had more reason to play but lack of new drops in the raid and the inconsistency of gear increase is not slow, but plain nonexistent. I've gotten no new gear for my hunter in 3 weeks, need the shell, helm, and numerous 310 upgrades, and I'm stuck just twiddling my thumbs and watching the number of shards grow. I run the raid as a sherpa like 3 times a week if not more, I feel like a new drop isn't too much to ask for.

Ye I'm done until destiny 2. Tired of this game, haven't even bothered with kings fall. Time needed to get anywhere isn't worth it doing the same stuff endlessly isn't fun anymore . If they fixed crucible I might be interested in staying but the lag and awful map designs ruin what could be a great multiplayer fps. I'm off to halo, even halo 5 beta was better than crucible is a year after release.

Pretty much a southbound train wreck for me. Personally loosing interest in the game as it has become an even more inflated grind fest. With no real reason for it. The game is fun at times, though so many things are either still unbalanced, or horribly over worked. I mean weapon parts nerf? Seriously? Halo 5 is like 2 weeks away, and Fallout 4 is just around the corner after that. Hell people even have Black ops 3 to look forward too after that. I have a feeling this game is going to see a down spiral within the next month. Not to mention all the stupidity from the last update, as well as the over priced emotes. That I am sure will turn into shaders and ships, and maybe even weapon packs. Which will equal out to pay to win tactics soon after that.

Dunno if I'm even doing iron banner. Haven't done raid. I have no interest. But it's the only game I have that I can do a quick pick up game, and put down (crucible). Well Mortal kombat but eeh. Definitely my last purchase. But if they ever open the Oni vault.. . I'm down!

TTK is my last DLC with Destiny/Bungie I loved everything up until HoW, preordered TTK as soon as it was announced, as more information became known I grew more disappointed, if I wasnt too lazy to cancel my preorder I wouldnt have even got it
