No, I mean really. Give it to me straight. When it dropped for you, what were you playing the mission from? Because, man... RNG is getting f'king annoying!!!
Also? I'm curious about the rolls you got. Perks, stats... You know.
EDIT: Apparently, I can't edit the poll options after the poll goes live, but it seems like the Exotic Sword version of the strike is a popular option! If it's your case, just pick Nightfall (highest level strike option!).
EDIT 2: Oh, and for the record... I still don't have that helmet!

I know the feeling... Took me a long time to get Imago Loop, now I just need one with fire fly. By the way I had that helmet drop for me when I was doing the exotic sword quest, don't know if that helps at all but good luck you'll get it eventually.

1 AntwortenI hate that damn helmet. Don't care for the new exotics either. Not in terms of their power but the fact that once again, they're unaffected by shaders.

Voted nightfall but it was the exotic sword version. Wasn't even for me, I was helping a friend get his. I guess RNGesus favors good karma.

I understand people want it for its rarity but once you do have it it doesnt match anything besides the raid gear and the raid gear is shitty looking, to me that is.

7 AntwortenI got it from Atheon when I had the taint and his over soul was active. Just as he teleported us, I jumped on the platforms, blew up the anihilator totem, and started the ritual of negation. His over soul got destroyed, and I grabbed the scotch cannon and lit him up. Xylar came, and we blew up his heads, opened his chest, and we put major dps on his opened heart. He blew up, and Atheon resurrected. He started his liturgy, so we had to get his gaze before he summoned the oculus. As the oculus expired, we took down his shield and I slashed him with the ascendant sword. Pretty simple if u ask me that's 100% how I got it.

2 AntwortenBeen trying to get it for weeks. I'm up to 133 runs completed now with no luck. I see people running around the tower and strikes with it all the time. I pull up their stats on the app to see how many times they've done it only to get pissed off because it's always some absurdly low number. Most people have it within 10 runs, some go as high as 20. Here I am at 133, and with every completion it just makes me realize more and more how flawed the loot system in this game is. I've run it several times in the 36 strike playlist, heroic playlist, straight from the destination selection in orbit, and the 300 light level for exotic sword about 5 or 6 times. It just feels broken.

I've been grinding so -blam!-ing hard for this. And to make matter worse. Done a heroic strike the other night ... I killed loaaaads of ads and some joker who killed about 11 badguys gets the drop. I was literally screaming at my kinect.
