(This does not include the flawless chest)
I am surprised this hasn't been brought up yet.
The recommended light level for this activity is 290. You are required to infuse the gear before you can even use it in the game mode it drops for. This is end game content and should drop end game quality gear.
Thoughts?

Insaneshane10 hit it spot on
"Trials is the like the raid for pvp players. The raid drops 300+ gear and weapons. Therefore it makes sense for trials to do the same"
Edit: There have been some of you saying 280 is a placeholder and not there actual drop value. I hope this is accurate and my concerns are misplaced.
Edit: The link no longer works. It appears they removed these items from the armory.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Fawkes: 10/13/2015 4:41:29 PMTrails Guns Drop at that level too, but a flawless run nets a 310. Nothing wrong with that system. Raid gear has the potential to drop higher than 300. It's not a guarantee due to rng. Why all the frustration? Do you not have extra gear to level your new gear past 280 ? This is destiny and all they want us to do is grind. Nothing new there.

8 AntwortenI would say wait until they start dropping until we have 100% confirmation as to what they drop at. The armory isn't 100% accurate. Also, to those saying about no elemental primaries, it doesn't make sense to have the best pve weapons come from pvp. They made a mistake last time and they corrected it.

Nice link

3 AntwortenBungie took the initiative and nerfed your stuff to save you the effort of whining about it
-
Only wanted exotic emblem now I have that why do it again for legendary one.
-
Losers shouldn't get the best gear. If you want 300 plus light from trials you should have to go flawless.
-
2 AntwortenHorrible. Just horrible. No elemental primaries anymore either. Whoever is setting the rewards these days needs to be fired. RNG is worse than ever and have you finished the Remnants Quest? Not terrible, but long and not easy to solo. Your reward? A 240 rocket launcher with shit perks.
-
Most crap drops at 280/290. Bungie basically wants everything to be upgraded using exotics to slow things down and keep the game alive longer between dlc
-
1 AntwortenI'd be good with 300 for trials and 290 for banner.
-
So get to the lighthouse my -blam!-.

IMO I think IB gear should drop at 280, maybe a lil higher. You don't have to repeatedly win to rank up to 3 or 5. Almost anyone can rank up with the buffs, completing bounties, redeeming the medallions, plus it has matchmaking. I think ToO gear should drop at 290-300, especially at the Lighthouse. ToO is not for the weak at heart, you better have your shit together going into it... PvE players are cheesing bosses and exploiting activities getting them nerfed and changed. Prime example, three of coins. There's no cheesing ToO, unless you're flat out cheating. I play both and no way am I great at either but I enjoy them both equally and people have to understand that Bungie has to cater to both sides...
-
Nah dude. This means you buy trials and/or iron banner gear at 280. It'll most likely drop with random perks and stats in the 280-300 range... Like other random legendary drops.
-
I'm guessing it is the random rng light of anywhere from 260-300 how normal legendaries are
-
So basically Bungie is forcing us to farm 310 exotics and infuse them. Hmmm.
-
I'd like to see Iron Banner gear at 280-300 max and Trials gear 300-310 (or Hard Mode max). And I don't run trials, it is hard mode pvp to me. Lighthouse gear should = HM raid gear. Most flawless players with new 8-0 vs 8-0 match making should get rewards matching the effort.
-
You know there's something called placeholders they can put in a database, with all the anti-datamining Bungie has been implementing lately I wouldn't trust it too much...
-
Great. Another reason not to run ToO.
-
1 AntwortenThey want you to run raid for best gear. Hm will prob be 320 light
-
Adept weapons drop at 310
-
Yeah honestly it should be at min 290
-
12 AntwortenTrials is NOT end game. You have to remember that less than 14% of players even play PvP. Trials is tiny little game mode made for the most hard core of the 14%. The raid is end game. Trials and IB are small events. No end game gear should ever drop in PVP.
-
I want to be 310 light but I'm ok with the way things are. You can get 310 exotics and infuse them. That's easier than going the whole raid
-
2 AntwortenBearbeitet von T1000: 10/13/2015 4:46:51 PMI was curious. Thanks for posting. 280 is dumb! Even if it looks cool. That's a lot of infusing to get over 300. And it looks the same as last time? Lazy? I guess that means iron banner gear will be 280 also. Not worth the grind to me.
-
Trials and iron banner gear should drop at 300 honestly. Some people don't have time or groups to do raids with. Seems fair to me for those PvP players out there.
-
Lighthouse gear 310 probably
-
1 AntwortenNo, it doesn't. Part of the reason prison of elders was so obsolete from the get go is that the best gear was easily obtainable through it, not only that, but in addition it came fully upgraded AND gave you an abundance of etheric light to upgrade other gear. It made doing prison almost completely useless and thus it because just that: pointless. This raid gives gear that is overall lack luster (so far) but is great for upgrading other gear. If trials gear has good stats/perks, and the raid gives the means to upgrading, then this gives them both a purpose and keeps them both relevant, instead of one being the ultimate source of everything while the other withers and is forgotten.
