I don't know if everyone has tried or noticed this yet, but when a Hunter teathers a bunch of adds and someone uses Sleeper Simulant on an effected add, the round will ricochet off all of the tethered adds dealing massive burst dps from one shot!
Sleeper + Hunter = op Ness.
I'm Team Titan so I gotta leave this here too. Pop ward of dawn on a bunch of adds and use the Sleeper to make scrambled eggs lol.
Edit 1: Hunter has to have the Bloodbound perk active.
Side note: It looks like the Hunters get all the cool toys.....
Edit 2: I hopped on for a bit today simply to conduct more testing with the Sleeper Simulant. It seems that the ricochet will bounce up to three times before dissipating. It is not a guarantee that all three bounces will hit an affected add. The splash damage is most likely caused by the Bloodbound perk. But when 2 or more bounces hit the teathered add omg! Shit is awesome.
Titan bubble experiment continued: lol Confirmed, you can die if any ricochet hits you! It is recommended that St. 14 be used so that targets linger inside the bubble longer. Up to 3 hits will occur inside.
Video footage on the way.....

Where is the footage???

2 AntwortenLmao it doesn't ricochet dumbass it's called the hunter perk that shares damage and works for any gun.

7 AntwortenSo I tested what OP said and it did not do either of these two things: 1) The round did not track towards each enemy tethered. It continued on the same path it would have normally. 2) A new round did not appear out of each tethered enemy. As far as I can tell, at least one of these things was what OP meant would happen. They did not happen, so I guess Mythbusted? Also, do not attempt to ricochet rounds inside of a Ward of Dawn. You can actually kill yourself with the Sleeper Simulant, and that is a guaranteed way to waste a super. Even with an Armor of Light+ Blessing of Light combo, it will kill the user, therefore popping the Ward of Dawn. Here is something, however, that does work for people who do not have the quest for Sleeper Simulant:
If you know someone who has completed the first mission for SS, have them load it up, and join on them. You then get the Curious Transceiver which is the first part of the quest.
~BlueWestlo via Twitter a couple of days ago

It's just the bloodbound perk and you mistook the shot for having ricochet'ed into all of the enemies
-
I definitely killed myself in a Titan bubble with SS already.. Smh.

Thx OP. Nice post

1 AntwortenNice good info

1 AntwortenAny hard hitter weapon can do that if Blood Bound is equipped. For example, I use Dark Drinker's ultimate and it destroys everything in one go. That being said, I'm having a very good time with Sleeper. I didn't think I would be using it as much as I did.

1 AntwortenEh, I wouldn't call Ness OP. That back throw is pretty rediculous though. We won't even speak of the up air. That hitbox...
-
3 AntwortenOne of my teammates got shot with it while trying it snipe. I was at about a 70° angle above and to the right of him. The sleeper shot went through him, hit a flat wall behind him, and flew straight into me. It tracks to the closest enemy in crucible with its ricochet shot.

..... blood bound just spreads damage to all targets...... so this would work better with a rocket and cluster bombs anyway.....

Bearbeitet von The Loathsome Dung Eater: 10/11/2015 3:42:27 PMDid you know Sleeper Simulant can.....sit nicely in the vault! As a side note, bloodbound perk just shares damage across all tethered targets. It won't make the Sleeper ricochet off of them all.
-
16 AntwortenThat sounds devastating... I want to see this. And the Titan bubble idea... Btw when will the sleeper simulant quest be available again?

1 AntwortenVideo or it didn't happen

No it doesn't, the perk causes all enemys tethered to be damaged and explode on death. So you damage one enemy they all get damaged. It's better to use an exotic sword for that combo.
-
1 AntwortenIt's the blood bound perk, that's it. It's better to run in with the Dark Drinker in a scenario like that.
-
3 AntwortenDid it really ricochet, or did the hunter have the bloodbound perk on?
-
That's bloodbound I think
-
4 AntwortenTested it and it does not work.
-
Thats blood bounds ability, shares damage to all tethered enemies. I doubt the ricochet effect happens. Can't tell if troll or not.
-
That's just blood bound. Any damage done to one tethered enemy damage all of them

Go home sir, your drunk. Jk
