I'm speaking to those who are invested. To those who want to take part in pushing Destiny to the next level and beyond.
I plan to make purchases. Why? Because I want Bungie to take their creativity and maximize every hour they have an associate on the clock. That'll in turn make my gaming experience that much better.
There's so much potential still in this game. And as I watch it grow. I see how much the game can offer. The only game I can think of that I've played for many years is MTG. Destiny can be among that tier but the community has to get behind them 100%.
We have a lot that we can do to directly take part in and push Destiny.
I have my list of things I'd like to see in the game. Cross platform and private matches are two at the top of my list. So I'll do what I can to support the game. And I'm encouraged by what I've seen from the growth Bungie has made. Bungie doesn't need game of the year. Because this game can be the game of a generation.

11 AntwortenDESTINY/ACTIVISION shipped [b]$500 MILLION[/b ]USD on the FIRST DAY of sales a year ago. That's 5 times more than the second most poplar game on PS. Add to that more sales over a year and 2 or 3 expansions, plus merchandising. Every company that sells something physical has to have accountants, sales people, janitors, etc. Why S/W companies are often the most profitable is because they don't need environmental labs and test, hundreds of $100,000 tools, multiple engineering groups and all their equipment (every engineer has a good computer), and with digital downloads they save tens of millions on warehousing and distribution. It does not matter how much money you or anyone has to spend on a game. IF micro-transactions becomes the way to get armor/guns/content you are just throwing money at the screen, for nothing. It's an ethical issue not a monetary issue.
-
3 AntwortenPlease, please for the love of microtransactions, spend your money and continue to fund this game for me. Thank you :)

5 AntwortenCross plat forming can't be a thing because of PS exclusives

Bungie/Activision shipped 500 million worth of product on the first release of Destiny. It's a cash cow. Everyone is adamantly aware of the fallout of going pay to win. But if they walk the line of pay to look cool. They get to keep the 500 mil plus dance money. Activision knows how to turn a profit

4 AntwortenBungie has enough money you twit

Signed bump

9 AntwortenFor the amount of people against this garbage there's just as many desticles out there ready to give bungie their (or their parents) wallets. So when the day comes that Destiny becomes pay to win (which it will, don't be naive) you can thank all those like this who forked over what they had to support it. In the end, to each his/her own. But the Destiny franchise and their 10 year bs will suck thrall balls (cursed thrall balls at that) sooner or later
-
5 AntwortenI'm all for supporting devs and stuff, but where the hell is all that Activision money going to? Activision has extremely deep pockets and this game has sold a stupid amount of copies compared to other franchises. So tell me this, why do the players need to fund the game even more? It's not like they're running out of money.
-
3 AntwortenIll support it.. But im not gonna pay 5$ per emote, thats just not worth it If each emote is 1-2$ each id gladly support em
-
I've got $20 for silver. Hopefully that buys it all. :o)
-
7 AntwortenI want to support bungie in making more content but I'm not fan of this socialist crap. So I pay money , someone else doesn't and they still get stuff? Yeah doesn't feel right to me.
-
I already put money on my xbox just waiting for silver now

5 AntwortenTUNE IN TO CHANNEL ZERO (4x)
Yo.. Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusin' and reality becomes illusion. If I showed the masses where we was at or where we was going. I'd shatter the balance of Destiny as we know it. Cosmetic items (to include emotes, emblems, shaders, and ships) are all fine by me. Sparrows too if they never become mission relevant. If it effects my shooting or ability to get shot, then, problems. Other then that I don't care. Things bungie has done with this expansion (with qualifiers to remind that this isn't a blind fan boy perspective) -increased rewards (Cryptarch is kind of worse now and still a heavy RNG system. Plus getting a 230 cosmetic item when you are 300 is really pointless. Wow thanks for the 3 marks.) -streamlined currencies (Legendary marks are more of a grind, now you get none for crucible unless it's the "flavor of the day/week" ones and only a certain number of times. Same with strikes) - quest system which gives new priority and purpose to players who have beaten the story (Still kind of a clutter clearing all of these and deciding which ones you can do at the same time, plus replaying old missions just for questline purposes is kinda dumb as well.) -New ghosts! (It's a shame that legendary ones are either vendor, gifted from faction, legacy, and raid. So like 6 different appearing legendary and nearly all are just recolors of the same pattern, I mean different patterns might be nice too) But still overall there were many improvements on TTK and I like the direction it is heading.

Eververse Trading is a lie that I won't buy.

Or you know they could do it anyway without our extra money because they've earnt a freaking fortune.
