When is bungie going to make a challenging weapon to get?
Touch of Malice was cake SS was even easier. I got touch like day 3 or 4 of the raid and I got a 310 SS within 20 mins of the daily reset. Hardly any effort was needed for either of these "rare" weapons. They should make a weapon that requires you to solo a bunch of difficult tasks in order to get it. Does anyone else agree?
Edit: for all you people saying chaperone. This post is intended for the pve part of the game.

Hey, what about a gun that requires [i]every single[/i] story mission done on hard, right through Wolves of Mars and every single strike upgraded to current levels? They'd call it "The Dedicator." No, really though, I agree. If I try to get Spindle the next time around, my opinion might matter, but Sleeper Simulant was easy. The knight puzzle was shoddy without any single clue beyond oddity.

The most challenging PvE experience I think are blind raids . I pray for the day I'll have time for a blind raid , but until then I'll have to make do with getting down mechanics I googled . I hope hard mode is hard not just by adding ultras (Crotas end ) but instead more mechanics

If you're looking for more or challenging content, why not work on PvP and get your k/d up, or become one of those people great at rift or salvage? There's many people that don't need/want to grind a dozen crazy solo missions for some lackluster exotic. The missions now are unique, fun, and beat grinding the same junk for hundreds of hours in hopes of rng'ing the weapons. Just my 2¢ Edit: before you say "pve only", you can't deny there's another half of the game waiting for you that you choose not to play.

5 AntwortenOut of curiosity, did you do all these activities blind or did you source any information from the community? Without the the community I probably wouldn't have known about the alternate route to get the Black Spindle. Figuring out how to get some of the items is just as much a part of the game as shooting aliens to get them.

3 AntwortenIt's only a game and a virtual weapon. Look at it like this say you bought a new system for gaming and it came without the cords and they're just scattered through the entire world. Would that be any fun? And yes I know it's a bad comparison, get over it please.

I think all exotic quests aside from the simulant were reasonable. Who really wants to devote a whole week of play time and a crazy number of wipes to a single weapon? You have to remember, not all players are the same skill level. Many struggle with what already exists. Not myself, but I'm not so ignorant that I expect bungie to cater to me and only me.
