I'm doubting Mars warsats exist after waiting for 2 hours.
Edit: 3 hours and counting. AND 3 BLOODY TARGET ASSASSINATIONS IN A ROW. Why must there be quests that rely on public events -_-

i spent 5 hours waiting and eventually gave up for the day.

Did my Mars one in 2 minutes. Spawned in, went to Scablands and one was already there. Earth took me an hour and a half though

Took me 2 hours before the warsat dropped for me. I got on my brothers ps4 to do the quest-line for him. And the very first public event was a warsat. The game just doesn't like my ps4 xD

I did 12 targets before a warsat came up

Got moon and earth within 1 or 2 events, took maybe 20 mins.... Over an hour of hanging out on Mars and no luck. Giving up for tonight, will try again tomorrow.

Took me about 2 hours =\. Sucked. I eventually got it and I got an exotic engram that decrypted into hereafter so I guess the time was worth it =p.

Took me hours as well .had 3 people in different locations.b4 we got the warsat we would only get eliminate the target

Really? I checked 5 events, 3 were Warsats and 2 did not spawn, so technically I got nothing but Warsats. Really just assumed that everyone got nothing but Warsats if the had the Item in their inventory. I guess I was lucky?

Been at it since 1pm it is now 9:15pm and im barely on my last warsat at mars (still waiting), this is just ridiculous. Im literally answering emails and fixing my resume as i bounce around using the public events site....lol crazy a$s destiny day.
