2 Antworten
Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with bungie on Earth, so let's get to taking out their command one by one. Tess Everis. From what I can gather she commands the micro transactions from an imperial kiosk, just inside the Tower. She's well protected, but with the right team we can punch her nose, take this beast out and break their grip on our money.
Cosmetic only, only benefits players and bungie. Ridiculous that people are grabbing their pitch forks over this.
-
As long as it doesn't go too far

While in general I'm anti micro transaction, I'd be willing to drop $10 for a year two gjallahorn
-
13 AntwortenIt's only cosmetic items. Who cares? Three bucks for a dance? Just stop buying soda and candy bars, you whiny ass land whales.
-
58 AntwortenThat's 55% of this community who would potentially stop playing if this BS gets worse. Take notes Bungie.

got bored and made a joke sales pitch. please rate it You can now order your sleeper simulant now Guardian for 2.99....But wait there is more if you buy the exotic 1 weapon and armor pack you will also get bones of eao, purifier robes and the armentaruim. All for a low price of 5.99 Or you could be the year 1 exotic pack to instantly get all them year 1 exotics up to year 2 with a low price of 19.99. Cayde-6 "Guardians we need you to be the best you can be to fight the darkness, please buy these exotics, make sure we can fight and win." There is also a new deal guardians. Get your skin packs for your favorite Legendary weapons. The flaming skin pack for 2.99 The golden skin pack for also 2.99 And then later on after maybe 10 skin packs the ultimate deal 29.99 All the skins pack currently released.

Why can't I use my 70+ exotic shards for anything? That annoys me more than anything and what are notes of light even good for now.

Microtransactions are a solid business practice for a company who provides a product that you pay for once (or a finite number of times depending on dlc/ expansion purchases) but requires constant labor hours to maintain and improve. A shrinking player base to buy said Dlc/expansions only further reinforces the need for some revenue to be generated from the game in between major paid releases that support the game. That being said i would support bungie selling emotes, shaders, ships, sparrows and other character customization options for real money. But if the system devolves into buying armor and weapons then i will put the game away. Ive played addictive pay to win games (won a world and a crown on grepolis for those familiar with the game) and i spent way to much money. It is definately not worth it.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Fierycliff: 10/6/2015 4:45:47 PMGuess I'm confused. Why aren't the emotes automatically included in the game? Why put them behind a pay wall? Have we not paid enough money in support of the game to receive the emotes for free? This shouldn't even be an option. A money grab plan and simple. Preying on the most loyal fans. Way to reward the loyal fans, Bungie.

Yes because enough people brought the collectors edition and probably will buy silver we are getting free DLC

My concern is that I think it will slowly spread cover more than just cosmetic items, especially as Activision are involved. Most for profit organisations operate this way - slowly introduce new charging / price structures so the customers come to accept them as the norm.

2 AntwortenI'm OK with the micro transactions that Bungie has described. I'm OK as long as they stick to cosmetic items only. Emotes, shaders, emblems etc. As long as destiny remains profitable I wouldn't expect anything to change about that either. However, look at CoD AW. They introduced paid RNG as the most reliable method to obtain weapons that are or at least are perceived to be OP. I decided to never play that game again when that system was introduced and I will not play Destiny anymore if it becomes pay-to-win. That being said I think it's a good thing that players are critical of this move into microtransactions so Bungie has a clear idea of where the "line" is.
-
All I have to say is, at least it's not pay to win transactions. All of it will be cosmetic.

Bearbeitet von l MF Dan l: 10/6/2015 4:10:04 PMIf you have an issue with cosmetic only non gameplay impacting micro transactions you're an idiot.
-
The bad part is it opens the door for other micros to work themselves into game they have to promise it will never go beyond cosmetics maybe then, other gamers will feel at ease Do you agree?
-
Bearbeitet von OldeSkoolKool: 10/6/2015 4:21:57 PMUntil they start selling weapons or armor or other game changing items, IDGAF. This is strictly cosmetic items which have zero impact on the game. But I guess jet beams can't steel melt fuel.
-
Cosmetic only. It's cool, no negative impact on me, more money for Bungie for more content and the people who actually want them are happy. I think it's nice they're letting us grab a couple for free too.
-
As long as they just stay at emotes and shaders, however if it becomes a "pay to win" situation. I WILL quit destiny.
-
Make a response? It's for cosmetic items only. Read the article fully. Seriously.
-
9 AntwortenTrust me, it'll be exotics one day. I will quit if they make me spend real money on exotics. Until then, I really X10 like this game.
-
22 AntwortenBungie: We will give you free "DLC's" in 2016... And we will add some dances you can pay for if you want. Nothing game changing. Community: What we have to pay for dances? Screw your free DLC's! WE HAVE TO PAY FOR DANCES?!?! WTF I HATE YOU BUNGIE
-
1 AntwortenSo long as the items for sale are only cosmetic, I'm perfectly fine with them.
