Is ORYX to difficult?
So it seems even people who have completed the raid several times are still having BIG trouble beating Oryx...
And for people below 295 it's near impossible! So the question id like to know is do you think oryx is to difficult and involve to much, I haven't beat him yet, not even got past the second wave.... And have tried with a full fire team of people who have beat him several times....

The problem does not lie within the difficulty of the Oryx fight. It lies within the community. The first two weeks the raid was released, everyone was requiring 300 and 305 light, as well as full raid experience. On top of that they weren't willing to help the newcomers. I've been here since day one. I am not one of those elitists. So I helped. But at some point I had to learn the fights myself. Had to eventually join a clan of really nice people that were learning the raid. Shouldn't have to do that.

No it's literally so easy

When you know the mechanics and have decent weapons to put in a good amount of dps, Oryx, and all of the bosses in the raid, are easy. Way too easy, actually.

It's not difficult at all. At that light level it should be easy. People just need to remember their roles. Last run I did, my team beat him first time (friends and randoms) AND two of us died meaning quick substitutions had to be made for a platform and spark runner.

No, it isn't too hard. There are several steps to do in order, but it's not too hard. If you're on 360 send me a message and we will get it done.

The raid especially that fight is solely based on enough ppl knowing what to do and doing enough dmg to oryx. If above remembers VoG when it first came out just those two things weren't enough.
