Tired of getting guns with useless perks. I don't see whats wrong with everyone being able to get and use effective weapons.
Half of the available perks are far too situational, and most of the other half are just crap.
Reforging needs to return, only this time we choose the perks and elements. (2500g tier 3 perk, 7500g tier 1 perk/minimum gunsmith rank 10 etc etc)
Custom built guns from the gunsmith? Sounds about right...
Edit:- I'm dismissing pvp as a valid part of the game. If you play pvp regularly or play it enough to have an opinion on its imbalances, and continue to play it, your comments are irrelevant.
Edit:- the brainless drones are flocking...you don't want reforging because the perks are not balanced... Why not balance the perks? And then choose the perks you want?
What type of retarded people say no to choice... I'm dumbfounded
Edit:- bungie please reintroduce "shankburn" perks... It seems the brainstrust that is the destiny community prefers shit perks to drop randomly, over good perks that are chosen... I've got some ideas for even worse perks I'm sure everyone will love..
*each time you reload, you go to orbit
^that's going to be a real hit with the people in this thread
The people complaining that reforge sucked seem to have mostly 1.3+ kd...Scared that everyone has effective weapons, and they don't have an unfair advantage...
Edit:-The problem with a large number of guns in destiny is that they aren't worth using due to the base stats, time to kill etc...a gun shouldn't live or die by its perks, and nearly all guns should be useful. Right now 90% of guns are dismantled because the gun is shit, and the perks are shit... What use is it getting guns you can't use?

Yes lets bring shot package back and see how well that goes again :)

Shank burn FTW! I wonder if that works on the giant shank

I feel like we have gone from one opposite to another. Still not at a happy in between. Where I understand why they removed the option, I'd like to see them revisit or just flat out remove some of the perks. For example life support is worthless. By the time it activates your already one shot. Or the one that refills your ammo when a super is cast. Again worthless and more of a gimmick. They could stand to do a little gardening when it comes to weapons perks.

1 AntwortenSucks having to delete 99% of purples that drop cause they suck

5 AntwortenNo. It does not need to come back. It ruins the aspect of the game! Let's say you get a good base stat sniper. For example, her benevolence, or in TTK's case, 1000 yard stare. Then you re roll it with the perfect perks. You got all the perks perfect for your build, and from that moment on, every sniper you come across will be worse than your perfect sniper. There will be no point to grind, there will be no reason to be happy to get new gear when the gear you have is pitch perfect. And from that day on, you will never need a different sniper. And soon enough, you won't need any new weapons because your current ones are perfect. It ruins the aspect of the Grundy nature of destiny. It is so much more satisfying to magically land a perfect roll on a new weapon, it is so much more rewarding and satisfying, I actually have found a few weapons with super good roll on them and I forgot this super happy feeling after finally getting something with a good roll, I would choose this then to get any weapon and make it perfect. I would rather hunt out the weapon I truly desire than to make what I truly desire.

Pvp is an entirely valid and integral part of the game for many. The absurdity of that statement makes me entirely disregard anything you've said.

1 AntwortenIt was fun at first but in the end everyone would run around with the same stuff. When you get a good gun now, you're lucky and unique. That's a touch which destiny should not lose completely.
-
No. You can infuse things, that should be good enough.
-
1 AntwortenI'm fine without it. Nice idea but then just killed the fun of getting a nice roll.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von BeanTwenty3: 10/5/2015 6:53:50 PMI actually now disagree with reforging but like smith has said "it will return in some form or another" My suspicion is they want less op perks etc on the rolls
-
No, it does not need to come back.
-
It's fine. Just grind it out
-
Just no, fine the way it is, I like the random drops way better
-
How about no?

No its honestly fine the way it is as there is continued incentive to play a game that is based on loot drops. If you're allowed to reroll everything, it decreases incentive to play the game and thus makes the longevity of the game much smaller than it already is. This is a very basic concept that every other successful mmo implements to sustain player population between content updates.

Stop crying lil boy

NONONONONONONONONONONO

No please no
-
No. It sounded good on paper, but it really did hurt the longevity of HoW
-
I agree Reforge needs to make a return. Bump.
-
Edit:- People saying "NO! BECAUSE FELWINTERS!".... Felwinters still snipes after 2.0... The perks are the issue, not the rerolling...
-
Then we would go back to sniping shotguns and non exotic launchers as good as truth (Titan takonaught)
-
If reforge is to be re-implemented, I think each one should cost an etheric light. That way, it keeps old content somewhat relevant and prevents people from just spamming him for a perfect PVP roll.
Just my $.02
-
Nope. So we can go back to only seeing 2-3 different weapons per category.

2 AntwortenReforging should not come back, everyone with shotpackage shotguns was not a fun time..
