What about the forerunners? You know the creatures who built a weapon that wipes out all sentient life in the galaxy at the push of a button.

For all we know the worms power may just be good selling points to make u buy more destiny in the hopes of finally fighting an ahamkara/worm

Nope, not a trace left. The forerunner(Ecumene) empire was totally obliterated by Oryx. Why, because Bungie uses the same names to much.
