I think Initially Destiny has the upper hand Via: Ghost res Lost golden age tech Mystical science like Nova Bombs Each Guardian is chosen, so even if they are not skilled in combat they still gain unbelievable combat skills due to death being an inconvenience, think dead pool. The general way the destiny world is shown to be an age where tech can be easily misidentified into magic. However, Unlike the Halo lore, those in the destiny universe are confined to the Sol system. Assuming it is the last City vs the UNSC, the UNSC can eventually gather many troops and resources from existing colonies and battle to attrision. I would say halo would win if not for one last factor. The war mind. The last bit of golden age tech made for war, and has taken the resources of the other fallen war minds. If not winning against the UNSC, the war mind will surely make the war perpetual like he did with the darkness.
