The Sleeper Simulant Quest is now HERE!! (Full quest guide)
[b]Step 1:[/b] The quest "The first firewall is now available for everyone that got the four fusion rifle relics. Once you return to the gunsmith you'll get the quest, as shown here: [url]http://i.imgur.com/aLogKZu.png[/url]
Completing the quest will give you the Curios Transceiver, which goes to your quest items and then requires 4 sequential passcodes. The passcodes seem to be identical to the order the knights spawn in the First Firewall mission (Knights and Taken knights representing the values).

After 4 passcodes you get access to a new mission called Shadow Call which requires you to reach the top of the Devil's Spire (Cayde's Stash mission location) within a time limit to collect your reward, which is the IKELOS Fusion Core.
The Fusion Core requires 5 modules to be repaired.
[b]Heavy Power Coupling[/b] - Dismantle any legendary or higher heavy weapon.
[b]Ionized Shell Harmonics[/b] - Complete the Archives mission on Venus on any difficulty.
[b]WARSAT//MK19/TERRA/RSPN[/b] - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on Earth.
[b]WARSAT//MK19/LUNA/RSPN[/b] - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on the Moon.
[b]WARSAT//MK19/MARS/CHLM[/b] - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on Mars.
For help finding Warsat events, check out [url]www.destinypublicevents.com[/url]. Note that the Warsat at the beginning of the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strike does not count towards your Earth Warsat completion.
Completing all 5 modules awards you with the Reassembled IKELOS Fusion Core, which must be brought to the Gunsmith. Turning it in results in a dead end, and it seems most likely that the next step is time gated.
[b]Step 2:[/b] The Quest Continues, the Gunsmith gives you a Quest saying to Investigate Vault RAS-2 in the Cosmodrone. You need to do the FALLEN S.A.B.E.R stike on light level 280 (level 42) Once completed you will be given a frame, return to the gunsmith and you got yourself the sleeper simulant (attack 290)

You described what will happen during the quest, but the main and biggest problem is how to start it! I dont believe its the Gunsmith rank tho. Mainly bcoz there is already two exotic weapons and one legendary weapon tied to his ranks. I personally spend hours upon hours doing missions and patrol, but hit a wall every time... Two things bug me the most atm... 1. The treasure map from the CE book. It very resembles Venus patrol, but I spend there whole days without any result... 2. SABER nightfall... Why is that Nightfall the only place that spawns a SCORCH canon Captain and SEPIKS-23? And why is there a strange delay on the explosive shanks spawn after the vents open? why does the ghost mention "Maybe we should figure out a different way how to bypass Rasputins codes"... We throw in a greande and piss off Rasputin. Can be the Scorch canon the solution? Or luring in a Shank? I dont think we need to get him inside the vent since his blast radius is huge it is gonna be enough if he explodes infornt of the vent. The music recording is imo a part of the quest and not the trigger.

Its obvious! We have to shoot the gunsmith in the face with Pocket Infinities, specifically, everyone in the tower at the same time. So easy yet so difficult

2 AntwortenSomething worth checking out is the shrine of oryx. It never used to be accessible in patrol, but now it is. Also, the Wolf Scavengers are still just outside, despite pretty much all other wolf patrols vanishing with the end of HoW and the release of TTK. I can't find a damn thing out in the room, but my gut tells me there is something there, even if it's a triggered patrol event for a quest later on.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von texas9n09: 10/4/2015 6:39:34 PMSo apologies if this has been tried or said before: In earth on patrol, outside the Rasputin door there is a hive with a TON of health called the "Celebrant of Oryx" with two yellow knights with him. Has anyone tried having someone sit outside this door during the SABER strike to see if it opens? I started to test this idea yesterday, but my random teammates struggled mightily and I got impatient. I sat outside the door until they got to transferring the orb in the arc stream room (I assume they were around this point when I left the door). When I arrived I helped them finish moving the orb. When it occurred to me that placing the orb and killing the power COULD be a trigger to open the other bunker door. Can anyone confirm if this has been tested? One important to thing to note is at NO point was I teleported to my teammates while I waited for them to progress the mission. Edit: Tried this with fire team. Didn't work. Door won't open. Happy hunting guardians.

2 Antwortenfound this in the grimoire does it mean anything: Variks keeps a ragged piece of armor in his pod. It's human tech, Golden Age. Shattered in some ancient battle, pre-Collapse, and left to drift. He found it and he brought it to his quarters so he could sit on it. It's nothing like a throne. Variks doesn't want a throne. Not only does it refer to it being a item from the golden age but it also refers to it being a shattered piece of it.
