So... WHY THE HECK IS ORYX SO FRIGGIN HUGE?!
I watched my brother play the kings fall, and when I saw Oryx, [b]I thought he was bowser![/b] He really reminded me of bowser! He did the same stuff that bowser would do, and he was the same size from one of the mario games... But what the heck!? Can someone please tell me why he got so big?!

He sacrifices his body form in the campaign to retreat to his sword realm in which he is a god. That's is where you kill him in the Raid.

Because it's his true form and that you can only permanently kill him in his court so he is going to be big. Either that or he's been absorbing all the fallen's ether to grow huge but that's just my speculation.

What I don't get is, why doesn't he just flick us into space or smash us? Is it because if the notorious Plot armor that we wear? Making us impervious to everything. [/i]

My guess is, similar to the way the Crota we fought in the raid was his weakest point, the Oryx we fought in the story was also weak. My best guess is all the echoes he created spread him too thinly. And then once we started killing more echoes he started getting that power back.

However judging by the mission "Sword of Crota" looking at the size of the sword he was probably the size of an average knight, maybe a bit bigger. The Crota we faced in the raid was Crota in his throne world hence why he was so big compared to earthy Oryx in the regicide mission. Oryx's final form we see in Kings Fall is his true form in his throne world hence why he is so big. FYI: Oryx fused his throne world into the Dreadnaught itself to make it mobile and harder to hit Unlike Crota who's entrance to his throne world was stationary in the Hellmouth. [spoiler]This is unconfirmed ///The raid itself is in a parallel dimension, a mirroring if you will of the real Dreadnaught. [/spoiler]
