Yr 2 weapons suck in pvp
So we are forced to use yr 2 weapons because we can not fuse yr 1 stuff. I hate this because all the yr 1 stuff is way better with way better perks. For pvp nothing manacles made warlock gernades worth something in voidwalker. But besides that, whenever I play elimination or any pvp for that matter, everyone is using the same yr 1 snipers and yr 1 shotguns with the exception of a handful of players. What does that say about yr 2 weapons. If we are forced to use yr 2 stuff in pve, why not make a damage drop off with yr 1 weapons in pvp? Just goes to show that new stuff isn't always better. Let me fuse my yr 1 gear and I'll take over yr 2 any day.
Let me explain this a little better. Yr 1 armor is better hands down. Yr 2 primaries are over better weapons, but secondary yr 1 stats are better than yr 2. IE, the aimed assist on shadow of veils or efrideets speer is better than 1000 yard stare and the range on yr 1 shotguns out gun yr 2 shotguns w the exception of chaperone.
Now I'm not saying that I use yr 1 gear only. I use yr 2 gear but it drives me nuts when I'm out shotgunned by a felwinters. We both hit each other, but I die and his health goes down.

Stop being silly, all y1 weapons work in pvp I use against all odds, a Vanquisher VIII and either a peruns fire or final restII Liking that hawksaw and the hakke pulse rifles, there are a ton of y2 weapons that are great in pvp Let go, or use the y1 stuff, whatever lol

Let those who are using year 1 weapons keep using year 1 weapons. When IB and Trials comes around there will be a wakeup call and easier prey in the crucible. lol

Nah I got a nasty y2 AR and pulse rifle also a year 2 party crasher. Tlaloc and chaperone are god tier. As well as swords if u know what u r doing

They'll probably bring them in yr2 throughout the next couple of dlcs, so we'll have to pay for them, Activisions rubbing off on bungie

Regular crucible has no level advantages that's why people use year 1 weapons but when IB comes or ToO people will be stupid if they use year 1 weapons.

It's not IB, so I'm still making use of the Mk. 44 Stand Asides, 3rd Eye Auto Gheleon's, Corrective Measure, and Found Verdict. When IB comes around, I have tools for that too. Taikonaut with a Grenades & Horseshoes RL, a ridiculous FR, and some other goodies that should be fun.

Start looking for yr 2 replacements for IB or OoT. It's your fault if you get rekt in those end game content. Bungie is telling you to...[spoiler]Let it go...Let it go -frozen[/spoiler]

4 AntwortenDafuq u talking about? Pvps better than it's ever been. Finally some nice balancing and I see so much more variety in weapon choices. Pvp weapons don't suck, u just mad because u can't 2 shot someone anymore.

11 AntwortenYou can keep using your year 1 gear all you want. In fact, feel free to use it in Iron Banner too. I'll enjoy taking 5-6 shots from your hand cannon before killing you with one scout rifle headshot.

1 AntwortenOk, think about this. All these people using year one stuff in P P with level advantages disabled rigjt? Let them. Guess what happens when IB and Trials rolls back in? Their weapons suck, and they have zero practice with new guns, and they struggle. Furthermore, I have had zero issue with new guns.
