Just spent an hour doing strikes. Didn't finish one.
Why? Quitters and AFKs. Seriously, a little over an hour and couldn't finish a single god damn strike.
Quitters and AFK people, and you know who you are, go -blam!- yourself.
Edit: I'm going to spend the remainder of my night watching youtube vids of Halo 5 rather than attempt another heroic strike.
Edit 2: Whoa this blew up. Thanks for the support from those who gave it. To the shit-talkers; you can lump yourselves in with the quitters and AFKs and take the advice I gave them. :)
Edit 3: Jesus over 500 replies. One night of frustrating Destiny gameplay = my most "successful" thread yet. Damn.

I've just started figure out how to run these thing with just two. Happened to me several times yesterday and I just kept going as long as one person stayed. I don't think we failed once but it does make them take 10 mins longer. Don't give up man you probable would have carried that third person anyway

I get that quitting is annoying and is a problem, but honestly it doesn't happen to me as often as you seem to be saying it is for, maybe I'm just lucky. Plus, for real these strikes aren't that hard, whenever people quit out just solo the rest of it, don't just quit out in anger
