Bungie, its time to Nerf Shotguns into the ground.
YOU CANT BALANCE THEM SO MAKE THEM UNVIABLE UNTIL YOU CAN.
remove range finder, shot package and all buffs that inprove range.
cut the impact of the High impact model by 1/3
remove LitC and Final round and them half the Clips of every shotgun.
reduce reserve ammo by half
i want to play destiny were Shotguns are useless so for once we can see a varity of Special weapons.

Variety of special weapons? It was there when fusions were viable. They got nerfed to the ground. Now it's shotguns. Nerf them, and only snipers will exist. Then you are going to whine that you are dying across the map all the time. Then snipers will get nerfed. The measly sidearms are already a joke but they will get nerfed eventually too. And then there were none.

Of the absolute most annoying things is when you see a player deliberately run up to 50m towards you with a shotgun out because they don't bother to even try to use a primary.

I believe they still have a little bit too much range, however to be stated lightly... they're avoidable. I run a fusion rifle and it does wonders when positioned correctly. I can't tell you how many rushers I've melted just by playing back and charging up.
