Never in my entire destiny life (and I've played since the beta) have I seen this many fanboys. Defending the statement "non-TTK buyers didn't get locked out of anything". If you actually believe that, you're just being completely ignorant and desperate to try and save bungie's reputation. The evidence they did lock us out is talked about in many videos and web pages. I myself use to be a big PvE player, but now I've been a PvP player so I'm not going to pay 40$ for a few more game modes in the crucible when in reality I would only be playing one or two of the modes, just like how I usually only played control (as many did. From bungie's words, it was there most popular game mode). Now I don't got the choice. Back to the main point, the fanboys are real! Good day to all of you (but not the fanboys)
Edit: I didn't even realize we're moving up in the ranks on the feedback forum lol.
Edit 2: It's hilarious seeing them get so defensive!

I think it would've made them angrier if you wrote 'Desticles' instead of 'Fanboys'. Just a thought.

1 AntwortenI love how you start off, "never in my destiny life.." Dude. The game has been out for 13 months. Jesus Christ.
-
13 AntwortenThese post are a waste of.our intelligent time. Waste of server space...waste of forum space. Bungie wants feedback from everyone who will be rational.about not a raging monkey In a cage about it.

11 AntwortenIt's extremely sad how many of you are out there that are Oh bungie locked people out..... Ok just pay them for it no biggie It's completely fine Sad to see the gaming industry going this way and that so many people are total ok with letting it continue on this path Next thing you know a couple years down the road it's going to be $1-$5 per mission Oh you want the new reskinned g horn that'll be $1.50 Want to be able to get on the game at all it'll cost ya $40 for 1-4 months If you think this is not where it's headed your kidding yourself and t won't just be activision/bungie doing it either I bet if this allowed to continue for another 2-4 yrs next thing you know EA and Microsoft studios will pick up similar business practices. Cause heck if bungie/activision does it to their players why shouldn't they??

The only problem is if people stop buying the dlc at different points they need to have multiple nightfalls and strike playlists for every different combination etc And I'm assuming that that is difficult for them to do or requires too much of the game resources. So while I agree that getting locked out of stuff you could previously do is crap it kinda has to happen other wise at this stage they would need four (possibly more) different nightfall playlists alone for vanilla and the three DLCs. But trust me I'd be more then happy for them to fix it so it works for people who haven't been sold on the new DLCs but I don't know how they can with it being the way the game is currently.

4 AntwortenGet a refund. I did. Speak with your money, it's the only thing this greedy company understands.

Bearbeitet von SKILES85: 9/29/2015 1:44:32 AMHey does anybody want to join my fireteam and help me get a bunch of shit we got last year? They have new #s now. No? Come to think of it...neither do I Why is so much of our gear relabeled so we have to pay with OUR time that deej said they wanted to respect? Like so many of you, I'm yet again asking WTF Bungie? It's like being able to go out on a date with Jennifer Aniston, but you have to let jared from subway watch your kids while you are out with Jennifer.

They can do what they want. Yeah it sucks for people like you but you agreed to it when you started playing the game. It may not be the morally right thing to do but its business. In the end you either need to suck it up and buy it or walk away and don't play it again. It's that simple.

OP, im sorry i inadvertently hijacked your thread, its just these damn Desticles follow me wherever i go.......

3 AntwortenDo you own stock in bungievosion? Last I here'd they can do whatever they want with THiER franchise! Sorry bud!

2 AntwortenMe and my Clanmates paid the money and we are having an awesome time. Hours and hours of fun for $40 - best value for money around. The quests, story, raid, strikes, maps, guns, armour, economy the list of new features big and small is enormous. Playing daily and loving every minute - gotta go doing the raid ;)

Just ally something else if you're not going to buy expansions simple as that. Or just play crucible. This game is going to continue to expand how do people not understand this yet. Nothing is free get over it. Btw TTK it's worth every cent.
-
2 AntwortenYea they did lock out old players but not out of everything. Mmos are notorious for locking out previous players for not continuing to pay. Honestly it's not as bad as it could get and I understand the reaction from people who haven't played mmos before but thats just how it is
-
2 AntwortenI don't care. I bought The Taken King because I wanted to see what it was about. I wasn't dissapointed, been enjoying what they've given us. If you choose to not don the same that's fine. But I don't care about you being locked out. If I get tired of playing and find something to play I enjoy more, then I simply won't buy the next expansion. But I will not come back expecting to play everything the way I used to.

3 AntwortenI'm interested in what makes someone a "fanboy". I wouldn't class myself as one, I mean, granted I have changed my kids names to Luke and Deej. My daughter wasn't too happy but she doesn't play so she wouldn't understand. My dog I renamed "Bungie" and I dont answer my wife unless she refers to me as "Guardian" first. Does this make me a fanboy? I don't think so; I'm just trying to become legend in a game that I'm a fan of!
-
I will agree that players without the taken King did get locked and it's kinda unfair. But I found make the rules. I follow them.
-
Missing out on some awesome exotics bruh. You should get in here.
-
I have the dlc but I do see how they locked out a lot of my friends from a lot of activities.
-
5 AntwortenFans(not fanboys, this being a time of equality) on the official site of a game, the horror! You want to stick it to bungie? boycott everything, the forums, the game and the DLC. If you are correct and 99% of the people are being scammed or unhappy, then leave and let them know with all of the empty towers, boards and threads. The fact you all have debates about Destiny implies you have some reason to remain here, in which you are supporting indirectly the people you want to stick it to.
-
1 AntwortenYou sound like a fanboy to me.

Have a bump and another and another and another one for good measures
BUMP
even when bungie says it's not an mmo, they say it is. even when bungie never advertised a subscription, they claim it's a subscription. even when bungie admits to lack of clarity in regards to owned content, they claim bungie was very clear. even when we say it is not about the money (and many of us have already payed $100 showing it), they still say fork up the money. next time you see a post defending bungie in such a way, try asking, luke, is that you?
-
103 AntwortenDont think for a second that some of those assholes arent paid employees. A budget of $500, 000, 000 can buy a whole lot of failed writers who will gladly flap their gums ALLLLL day long about how Bungie hasnt f/ucked us all over. Believe it.

38 AntwortenWhat happened here is very simple: 1. Anyone who bought this game bought a LICENSE to play a game that is constantly evolving and changing. 2. Bungie made it clear that this game would ALWAYS evolve and chagne, and that there would never be a static version of the game for people to play (if they didn't stay current). 3. Bungie has always made it clear (since TDB dropped back in Dec 2014) that the Daily and Weekly rotating parts of the endgame are NOT base content. They are community events added to the game by ALTERING the base content fo the game. If you were not current with the game, you would not be guarenteed to have somethign to play. 4. Bungie clearly reserves the right to chagne the game, and to limit people's access to it. People were CHEERING when Bungie used this power to ban ToO cheaters. 5. TLDR: People bought access to a game that evolves and changes. Bungie told them to expect that it will always evolve and change. Now said people are MAD, becasue the game is EVOLVING AND CHANGING in a way that they find personally inconvenient. While that is really unfortunate. That is NOT unfair. People who chose not to buy TTK, can still pay ALL of the CONTENT (mission, strikes, raids, PVP maps) that they actually paid to have access to. What they are NOT allowed is access to the end-game community events that have NEVER been fully available to people who were not current with the game. Bungie has been warning those people for the last 9 months...and they chose not to heed the warnings.
