To those requiring "295+" trying to get the Black Spindle
You're absolutely right.
I ran it with 3 of us at 295, 295, and 296.
Could. Not. Do it.
Probably need raid weapons for the damage bonus to taken. This quest is ROUGH
EDIT: wow. Lots of people on here disagree! I must have had an inferior group lol.
I suppose I DID spend a lot more time reviving than I should've had to during the boss :/
Edit: almost 1000 replies. Holy shitballs Batman!
Edit: my phone has exploded. Lots of success stories in here!
Unfortunately, by the time my team and I finally got it, we finished a minute after reset. Literally ONE. MINUTE!

We had 2 minutes left when we finished a 299 294 and a 291

We tried 287 bubble titan, 289 hunter and 303 sunbreaker. The 303 guy had done it successfully. We couldn't do it. I think we could have improved our strategy and maybe done it if we kept trying, but we all ran out of time. Having to start the story fresh if you fail vs wiping back to a checkpoint adds a lot of busywork to it if you wipe. Back to stealing crystal and unlocking doors.

We had a 291 Titan, and 2 294 hunters. Finished it with just over a minuet left

My fireteam sucked. It was one of those situations where the other 2 you're with aren't bad but aren't good either. My other friends invited me but I didn't want to be rude and leave. I was on my hunter, and we had 2 warlocks. I kept telling them to kill the blights so we can take out a few ads before we dps the boss. Never happened. Finally I told one guy to switch to a Titan for the bubble. We get in and use our swords to drop the boss down to half until I find out one guy doesn't have a fûcking sword yet... We wipe forever, took us 6 hours, killed him many times but couldn't get the ads, went to sleep empty handed. So upset. My other friends beat it in an hour :/ I should have joined them.

I ran it with a 293, 294, and a 295 and we beat it our first try. 295 plus is for those not skilled enough to work your way through. We got to the final room with 6 minutes left. Finished it with maybe 30 seconds left. Anyone struggling, just chain supers in each room. Once you kill the boss in the final room, adds stop spawning so try to take him down as quick as possible. If you leave yourself a minute to kill adds after he dies, you should be fine.

Took me 2 tries, 1st try killed boss with 30 sec left, 2nd try killed boss with 3 min left.

1 AntwortenBeat it with two titans about 293 and a Hunter that was 284. Hunter tethers and Titans use hammers. Creates enough orbs to almost keep everyone's supers up. Just spam supers. Finished with 1 minute remaining.

Beat it with 292 warlock 294 hunter 290 hunter. Took us a couple tries and we beat it with only one second left on the clock. Funniest time I've had doing a daily ever.

My fireteam consisted of a 300 sunbreaker, 300 storm caller , and a 298 sunsinger that switched to storm caller after killing the boss then killing ads.

289, 293, 298 beat it first try with 2 min left yesterday with shottys snipers and hmg's. Just focus on the boss with snipers and hmg first then super and shotty the adds

I did it as a 290, 286 and 291. I was leveling stuff up so i was low but we still did it as two warlocks and hunter

I did it with 2 randoms from recruitment part of the app, I was the highest light level at 294, it took us 2 attempts, a storm caller (me), a night stalker and a sun breaker, me and the sun breaker cleared adds on either side then the hunter just went to town on the boss, finished with like 6 seconds to spare, was way too close of a call

Its really easy if you run around with swords n' shottys, don't set up a tent and get comfortable, the psions dupe where you can see them and become a huge threat.

Subclasses are more important than light levels for the quest imo. We had a nightstalker and weapons of light for super amazing damage and a stormcaller for ad control

We did it with a 295, 290, and 289. With about a minute to spare. When we ran it with a 295, 294, and 293, we had 11 seconds left.
