To those requiring "295+" trying to get the Black Spindle
You're absolutely right.
I ran it with 3 of us at 295, 295, and 296.
Could. Not. Do it.
Probably need raid weapons for the damage bonus to taken. This quest is ROUGH
EDIT: wow. Lots of people on here disagree! I must have had an inferior group lol.
I suppose I DID spend a lot more time reviving than I should've had to during the boss :/
Edit: almost 1000 replies. Holy shitballs Batman!
Edit: my phone has exploded. Lots of success stories in here!
Unfortunately, by the time my team and I finally got it, we finished a minute after reset. Literally ONE. MINUTE!

Completed at 280 with two 292s

Ran it with myself at 292, teammates at 281 and 272, now rocking Black Spindle.

Three of us ran it all 292's. Took a couple of tries but it can be done

Did it first try with 1:42 left on timer.... sorry.

Yeah man, it's note required I did it with a friend who was 290, and we did it in the second try. It's all about team work. Have a storm caller for ad control, a hunter bow for the precision shots on the main boss with the super and a titan with bubble. We did it with like 30 seconds to spare.

I did it my first run with a 291. First 3/4 of the fight I used a 284 shottie then switched to a 294 sniper. All while using the 294 Supercell as a primary and HMG for a 284 heavy. The final fight is all about having the right supers and focusing on the spawn orbs first, adds second and then the boss.

not about light level, more about how you go about dealing damage and your communication. Finished with a minute left for mine.

My group was myself 294 and the others like 290 and 292 but yeah hard asf

So we had two ppl working on the Adds while other one was sniping the boss. The adds spawn at certain health intervals, similar to Skolas, so you don't want to get into a situation where you have 1000 adds after to kill after downing the boss because you won't finish in time. [spoiler]Solar sword is a beast for those tortured Knights[/spoiler]

We did it with a 293, 297, and a 290

We had me (305) a friend (307) and a random guy we met (299) we killed the boss with 1 minute 30 seconds left and we just about cleared the adds in time. It's really hard though, we tried it with all around level 298 and we couldn't get it done.

For the ones who got the black spindel either infuse it or keep it .. Bit it will be nerfed by bungie to 290 the next update..if you infuse it that weapon will not be affected..

Just need to be gud. You don't need to rush just because there is a timer. Staying alive is equally important.
