To those requiring "295+" trying to get the Black Spindle
You're absolutely right.
I ran it with 3 of us at 295, 295, and 296.
Could. Not. Do it.
Probably need raid weapons for the damage bonus to taken. This quest is ROUGH
EDIT: wow. Lots of people on here disagree! I must have had an inferior group lol.
I suppose I DID spend a lot more time reviving than I should've had to during the boss :/
Edit: almost 1000 replies. Holy shitballs Batman!
Edit: my phone has exploded. Lots of success stories in here!
Unfortunately, by the time my team and I finally got it, we finished a minute after reset. Literally ONE. MINUTE!
Next time I guess T.T

I finished it with a 300 light hunter, 294 warlock, and me, a 290 light bubble Titan. I finished with the most kills.

Yeah I tried it with 2 280s and they just got melted. When it comes up again and I LFG IT I will say 290+

I had the raid fusion rifle(the only raid weapon I've been able to get) and it wasn't helping anything. If I could get past the War Priest or even finish the raid and get some better weapons it might help but the fusion rifle wasn't capable of clearing enemies quickly.

Got probably 10 adds away and one blithe before the time ran out. 293 hunter 279 warlock (me) 252 hunter Yes a 252 which was my brother and hr actually had the most kills in one of the runs. I think weapons of light is almost essentially to get it done quickly.

It took me and my friends a long time. Eventually we got it spamming swords. It's a tough one even is some won't admit it.

I beat it with a: 293 (me) 289 284

Did it with a guy in the 280s on my team. It's all about the first few rooms. We got to the final room with 7 minutes left and it was cake

Did it with 2 warlocks and a Hunter. 292, 285, 282. It's all in the strategy. Getting to the final room fast is key.

1 AntwortenYou honestly need the RIGHT team. I did it like 10 or more times with one group who were above 299 and we couldn't get it and I was frustrated. I tried it with my two other buddies and we jelled so well together that we got it the second try. Teamwork is the main thing.

Did it with a group of 285's. Just went with the drop bubble on boss. Bubble maker stays alive, and everyone gangbangs him with swords plan. He goes down in 2 minutes or less. Then you just take out anything that isn't a psion and mop op the rest.
