So Golgoroth - yeah after several hours we gave up.
Today's secret daily - don't even get me started.
Even when you pay for the content - it's still beyond the average player.
Bungie - don't create content only geared for the top 1%.

All MMOs/RPGs are like this. People who beat the hardest content get the best rewards. And that is a good thing.
-
Go ahead and check my ranking in destiny. Through the raid and nightfall I've gotten much better drops than my team mates xD
-
I guess I'm the 1%
-
Well... A handful of people beat the raid and got the black spindle. (More than 1%) There will always be activities that are just too hard for some people. I know there's still a couple of people who haven't beaten Atheon or Crota without being carried most of the way. The new activities introduced in TTK did a good job on spreading out the work between everyone in a fire team.

19 AntwortenBearbeitet von Zanithos: 9/24/2015 9:48:45 PMBump. I agree 100%. Even at light 280-290+ the Black Spindle boss fight is too hard. When I have almost max armor, with a boost from my chest piece, and still get one-shot by red bar ads, something's wrong. Especially when afterwards it says the ads are "recommended light level 240". No way. Not even heroic strike bosses hit that hard.

2 AntwortenDon't buy a game like this then I am tired of entitled little B1tches like you who want everything. Take the time out to play the game or don't buy it in the first place. Awww I suck and can't get the gear Bungie give me this Bungie give me that I spent my money I deserve every weapon. Kill your self by hanging or drowning but do kill yourself

5 AntwortenThe "Everyone Gets A Trophy" generation. Sigh.
-
2 AntwortenThe game caters to the elite people bitch. The game caters to the casuals, people bitch. How about the part of the game where we are supposed to become legend. Or invest time to get what we want. To create stories. To have fun. Challenges are fun. Whats the point of playing if you get eveything you want when you ask for it. Participation ribbon generation indeed.
-
This is what happens. Try Hards grind and do it right away. Try Hards only want to do it again with other Try Hards to get max gear. Try Hards start getting bored and help others once they feel they have all the mechanics figured out. It's still the first week, just keep grinding.

This post makes me so happy.

Well... I'd just like to say, I'm not fully geared out or anything, I tried to get black spindle for about 2 hours last night, didn't succeed... But... I had so much fun trying.. I know that when I do get it, I will feel a sense of accomplishment, and I love that bungie implemented something like this... Anyone complaining of the difficulty, that's ridiculous.. If this were something that stopped you from the story of the game and the lore, it would be understandable, but it is a challenge to some, hence the rewards.. I hope bungie does nothing to change it.. Unless they decide to make it harder.. Nobody should be awarded for not doing something... It's pathetic...

I can do all content and I'm only in the top 15%.

How about you work hard to be better instead of demanding that everything be made easy? Golgorath isn't even difficult if you have the right strategy. But, that would require you spending time getting a plan together. You'd rather whine instead.
-
17 AntwortenBearbeitet von koolkong94: 9/24/2015 10:49:27 PMHonestly? Quit whining and put more effort in. Here are the only 2 situations where your argument is remotely valid 1: Tryhard pricks in Trials who would go back just to prevent other players from reaching the Lighthouse for lulz. And then say "git gud" like it wasn't pure luck they got matched with you instead of a team that would've thrashed them as hard as they thrashed you. 2: The Black Spindle thing only being available if it's the Daily. We have no advance notice of the Daily. What if I had plans that day? What if I have to work 14 hours that day? In both of these situations, your argument only barely applies. So sit down, shut up, and get to work. As a note, I've won about 10% (or less) of my Trials matches, not even touched King's Fall (no spoilers plz), and failed miserably at trying to get Black Spindle yesterday. And I have nobody to blame but myself.
-
Its not easy. So make it easier.... No dude I didnt get it and still i accept that the challenge was excellent. Limited time also but this idea of no kid left behind is bad.
-
All of this supposed top 1 percent content will be attainable to the majority in a month when people are higher levels.

1 AntwortenThey don't only create content for the top 1%. Everyone complained that there wasn't enough content in the game so they put a ton of content in TTK and actually made it slightly challenging. People complained about RNG so they decided to make a ton of exotics quest based which is another good thing. Sure a lot of the quests are long and time consuming but that's a good thing. Just because you can't get your rewards in the first week doesn't mean they're only for the top 1% because there are always going to be people that are very dedicated to the game and have enough time to get that stuff done. When it comes to something like the raid it absolutely takes a lot of time to learn the first time you do it but I promise you'll get it down eventually and get those rewards. If you're having problems with the raid there are a done of guides on YouTube on how to do each part. Have all of your raid team look at those guides and put aside some time every night to get at least one part done then by the end of the week you'll have completed the whole raid. After doing that the next time you attempt it you're going to cut your time in half. I got to Oryx the first day the raid was out and it took us hours and hours. We ended up taking a break and beating it the next day. Then when we went through our second time and it only took us a few hours total mainly because we had 3 new people we were taking through. Just hang in there and keep practicing man you'll get it eventually and will have all the rewards you're talking about, you just won't have them in the first week which isn't a bad thing.
-
Because heaven forbid it's a challenge for some people to get things.
-
People say they want to earn their exotics. They say they want to raid to be a challenge. They make these things true. People complain that it's too hard to get exotics. They say the raid is too hard. Ugh.

2 AntwortenOnly thing I can't get right now is the last word quest done..I keep getting stuck around 40-50% I got the spindle beat oryx..I'm not even bad at pvp when I actually try I do really good as you can see from my history I've had multiple 20 and 30 kill games..just can't use the last word for some reason
-
2 AntwortenI would love it if they had a VoG, CE, and KF that were 3 guardian friendly and normal/easy. The loot schemes could be more like regular strikes. More people would learn how to do the harder modes, it's not rocket surgery. I laughed when Bungie asked the first team that did KF where they met. Bungie, "Hey I bet you guys met online on our app or through playing the game right?" Team, "No. We met in the real world and have known each other for some time." Bungie, "Welp, I am sure now you'll take other randos in as we designed our matchmaking." Team, "Nope. Really just like playing with my friends." Reduce this moronic online/random/lfg barrier and more people will play the end game. After all, CE was solo capable. I am sure some duo did VoG.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von SilverPulse620: 9/24/2015 9:18:35 PMI agree. I hate how only the top 1% get anything good. If anything, harder for them to get gear as powerful as they have so that it evens the playing field for those who don't play Destiny 24/7.
-
They haven't created content ONLY geared for the 1%. They have created content for every for EVERY level of player. There is a difference. The most dedicated should receive better gear. The higher the challenge the better the rewards. Every level of player receives gear according to their commitment to the game.

2 weeks is all it took to break you? #weakminded
