Why "Shindig in the Crucible" is the hardest quest ever.
If you're a completionist like me, or if your just curious about this then alright. So if you haven't gotten it yet, there's a quest that Amanda Holliday will give you eventually rewarding you with "The Chaperone". Step 1 is to kill enemies with The Last Word to boost reputation with Tex Machinima. What sucks is that that gun has been nerfed. I mean it's miserable. If you use certain perks, stability is equivalent to Ill Will! You also need over a 1.0 kd ratio or you lose points. I literally cried when my 42% went to 2% in the same match. I am so angry. It's like an arbitrary system. If anyone knows tips on this. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks and have an awesome day!

Did it in two games. Just requires you to play to your strengths more.

You're really saying it's miserable? Well sure it's not as effective as it was before but seriously it still wrecks everyone in medium to short distances. And if you were expecting cheese that's not the case. TLW was never meant to be as long ranges as other hand cannons. Stability is actually not that hard to control(IMO).

Not difficult just choose your battles; stay back; and prey on people reloading and/or looking away

Get out when you're outnumbered. And the numbers are as follows: +1% for a kill +2% for Precision kill -2% for a death Multipliers on kill streaks and multi kills

you don't need to get kills WITH TLW just have it equipped. I did it this way- build your super up, equip TLW, get kills, unequip TLW. Repeat as many times as needed. Took me about 10 matches to finish this section of the quest this way. Works for heavy too. Get the heavy, equip TLW, get kills, unequip it. You lose progress if you die with it equipped so take it off before you die if you can. Even if you don't you still get more points for kills than deaths so as long as you get 2 or more kills you are still ahead. Just got my Chaperone yesterday

You don't have to use the last word, as long as you have it equipped you'll be good

It was easy for me. I'm pretty good in the crucible so I enjoyed that part. The part that got me was the shield brothers because the guy I was with just sucked and kept using the sword to hit the boss. It was all worth it tho because the chaperone is the new invective and let's just say I'm in love

2 AntwortenI finished that part today. Man it sucked. People telling me sniper and shotgun kills counted... Not for me they weren't. Heavy kills and supers were though.

4 shot kill handcannon with high firerate. It seems to get kills quite often for me

There should be a choice that says "TLW is still good but I suck with it." That's why I haven't bothered with that quest.

Just go into classic free for all or team death match lobbies. Way easier there

It's not with the gun necessarily...you just need to have it equipped, but as long as it's equipped you can use a sniper or shotgun and get kills. Just play safe and get kill streaks and it will go much faster.

Got it finished in about 5 games running Mayhem yesterday. Just have to play smart and try to string 5+ kills together at a time.

It's probably been said already but TLW is finally how it was intended to be. A close to medium range hip fire weapon. Very situational, like every exotic

I did mine in just 3 games. It's easy. And the mechanics of TLW didn't change that much, the range and recoil are off but it's not too bad.
