Bungie wanted to see how the new subclasses compared to the old ones. And thank god they did. With sunbreaker in its current state, trials would be broken.
The only think that I think should happen to the super is it should a one shot headshot to HIGH impact snipers and GG. Apart from that I'm ok with the super as it is
Edit: FYI I did have a Titan but deleted him a while ago, (check my grimoire) Might just remake him to experience this fair and totally balanced super.

Lol imagine if Sunbreakers had Swarm Grenades
Get it?
-
They did it so everybody has a chance to get at a balanced light level.
-
Everyone play as a sunbreaker until they nerf it. Thats the only way they will. Sunbreakers are pretty unreal and take way to much damage
-
I wonder if Trials will be broken if I mute you.
Probably not
-
It got delayed because bungie knows In 2 months well all be tired of the raid
-
4 AntwortenJust like strikers can sponge a golden gun shot? It's a super. It's meant to be op. They all are!
-
If you play all of be subclasses you will find easy ways to counter them.
-
1 Antworten85% of PvP is "Broken" so what? Play the game and find a counter to these so called "broken" items.
-
1 AntwortenCry NERF some more you butthurt scrub
-
Why they made a golden gun bladedancer Sunsinger is beyond me. Totally balanced at all. You can have six people shooting at one and come out feeling lucky that one of you survived.

1 AntwortenI'm sensing some high sodium levels.

Bearbeitet von Hippo_Legacy: 9/26/2015 2:43:42 PMI'd be fine if sunbreaker died to golden gun and snipers. Extra defense is still possible in the form of an over shield from sun spots, but you also give up mobility for the most part, so it's a fair trade off IMO.
-
Who else thinks its because of how high light level it will be just like raid
-
"One shot GG" Salty huntard detected.
-
Sun breaker isn't really that OP....you do realize that all you have to do to make them look stupid is glide in the air
-
4 AntwortenI don't see how it would be any less broken than when it was filled with Self-Rez Warlocks and Bladedancing Hunters.
-
4 AntwortenOh look it's a whiny little Hunter. Stfu and get off my planet.
-
I dont really see an issue besides the aoe seeming a little too big compared to the GG's 3-4 only shots that need to be placed correctly with no overshield on. But either way, before the taken king, you hear a GG pop, you run away and count to 15, its no different with sunbreaker and it sounds even louder when its activated and since titans are normally slow, that helps balance the other classes to escape. Shit, im going to get attacked by people who dont like logic :/
-
If hunters knew how to use their super trials will be difficult no one would have a cube to use a super since they can be shut down
-
I was just expecting to click that and the guy have a level 40 hunter. Sigh

11 AntwortenBearbeitet von LoneWolfRei: 9/23/2015 6:12:15 AMI don't get it though. Let's say there's three sunbreakers vs a Lock, a Hunter, and any class of your choice. If both teams are evenly matched then the second team only has to group the Titans up via suppressive fire on like round 3-4 and then have the Hunter shadowshot them. Boom. All supers drained and all threats neutralized for that round. Not to mention the fact that someone else could pop their super during the shadowshot in order to produce more orbs for the Hunter in order to replace the energy they used. Seriously, Trials is easy with the right strategy and the right people who know how to execute it. Hell, I can EASILY kill a Sunbreakers Titan 1v1 even if he Pops his super and I don't have one. It's about utilizing strategy and blind spots. Just stop complaining about Sunbreakers being OP because they aren't in the slightest. They are definitely stronger than the other Titan classes, but Stormcaller puts out more dps than Sunsinger and Voiewalker, too. It's really no big deal if you know what you're doing. :)

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von Anti_Hirro: 9/26/2015 1:47:55 PMI was having this discussion with my brother yesterday, he mains a hunter and I main a warlock. Imo and it is just an opinion, they got it right with sunbreaker vs golden gun and GG is in fact the op super, look at it this way, if a Titan or a warlock pre TTK wanted to shut down a GG super with their super then they had to use the super on just the GG user, if there was collateral then great but if not it's just a single kill to shut down a super, why should a hunter be able to shut down a super with just one shot and have two spare to continue killing with? This is no different than if no one was using a super, imo it should take 2 GG shots to shut down any super, supers should be harder to shut down than players not using super, GG effectively beat every super and now that it can't some hunters are crying about it. What's the big deal? Just sink the Titans with 2 GG shots and use the one spare on some other poor fool in crucible, the rest of us have to focus a full super to take down the Titan, be grateful you can still easily get an extra kill, we have to ensure we get collateral or take the single kill to ensure the Titan is shut down.

11 AntwortenWhy does nobody mention stormcaller?
-
1 AntwortenPretty sure they delayed it because no one would have good enough gear for the first week. They also don't want to split the player base away from new content.
-
Lol sunbreakers is gonna stay the way it is. It has nothing at all to do with Trials.
-
If there is three Titans using sunbreaker there is a simple solution. Kill the hell out of them before they can use there supers. I hate people who say the sunbreaker is op, could it use a rework? Yes, but honestly stop these threads.
