Raid has been live for less than a week and people posting on LFGs are already setting qualifiers.
Ex: "295 light, must be experienced"
Really people!?
Some of us have yet to run KF, who are we supposed to run with? Not all of us have whole days to pump into this game.

i simply dont have time to teach people anymore, and it always ends up when i do help them whenever i need help they are suddenly unavailable, even though i still see you sitting in orbit and alternating between missions and stuff.

4 AntwortenYep. Not spending 3 hours at each boss because kids don't understand the raid mechanics......
-
It's because the people who have beaten it feel that if they do not set light requirements they will not complete the raid. It's quite simple, if I was going to war id want the best of the best not just those who barely fit the criteria.
-
You answered your own question when you said not all of us have all day to play. Will I don't have all day either so why waste my time with a low level no experienced player? I loaded up the final boss on raid with friends last night and beat it in 2 tries... I'm not playing with noobs ever again... Not my problem..
-
I couldn't beat it the first two weeks beCause I was light 280-290 and had a low impact sniper. I sucked it up and bought 1000YardStare and got my light up in Heroics. Beat it this pass Sunday. Suck it up buttercup.

Better check the recruitment forums on here there are plenty of kf raid finder post for people who havent completed it but know the mecanics. It truly takes alot longer but its worth it.
-
Make some friends problem solved
-
Play with your group, if you can't, try to get into raid group and have fun, possible add new friends creating a larger network of people who can play raids with you in the future
-
Run it with the people who asked for experience because they'll know what to do and take more people like you into the raid like it has been for the past 2 raids
-
Just ran it, now i'm 298

Bearbeitet von Gruffy: 10/6/2015 2:32:30 PMI never understand these posts, I wanted to try the raid last Friday. Went on LFG and put it on, posted on these forums, ended up with eighteen peoplenwanting to do it. Formed a group, mix of light levels, two the guys had completed it previously. Sadly we didn't manage to finish it, but had a good laugh 😁 doing it. Instead of whinging on the forums be proactive and form a group.

Our group did it since the first week and we have helped a few guys do it and explain it to them. Our problem is we do have lives which most of us have wives and kids so we can't keep training people say after day. It takes us about 2 hours longer having to explain everything all over again and we don't have the time anymore. If you want to do the raid at least read strategies and watch videos don't come in blind and expect the group to explain and carry you. Our experience with new guys has always been the same they haven't done it (which would be ok if they knew what to do) and they are completely clueless on everything. Some even take 40min on the jumping puzzle. Think about all this when you see people posting since not everyone has 2 extra hours to explain ever time.

1 Antwortenevery time I post a group I say "you must have touch of malice/emblem or raid primary/emblem. 295+ light only and mic. I'm not afraid to boot people. let's get this done in 1 hour and 30 mins." and I do find good people. we mostly get it done in 1 hour and 30 mins

I almost always rely on lfg for groups since I don't have a bunch of friends who play but I understand the frustration which leads to these requirements. Last night I got together with a group at sisters checkpoint and it took almost two hours because people couldn't understand to get back to their platforms after the the first round and trying to remind people counter clockwise from where the rune is, having to yell numbers out when people should jump on platforms, people using underpowered weapons. Finally beat it, but at oryx people just dropped cause they knew it was going to take forever. I was gonna log off for the night but found another group to run it with that knew what they were doing and communicated and we got it done in about 15 minutes. There are plenty of people who are willing to help, the people on my friends list that invited me to join them for my first run through took their time and explained everything before each point and after a wipe or two everyone was on the same page. I took about 3-4 hours in total cause we just took our time, jumping puzzle deaths and getting calcified fragments and hidden basement chest but we weren't in a rush and had a good time. They weren't looking to speed run it or not have to explain the whole thing over and over. Some people just don't have 3-4 hours to run the raid if everyone knows what to do and can get it done in an hour and a half. There are plenty of other people who are willing to help, but this raid is not like the first two where people can just hang out and let others do the lifting. All of the group has to contribute to be successful since they put mechanics in that require multiple people to do thing in coordination while others work on adds and do damage. I don't have a normal group I play with but I'm always willing to help with raids/night falls/ whatever so if you need an extra person and I'm on hit me up.

Start your own group. Problem solved.
-
With all due repeat. Some people want to kill oryx, quickly, no squeakers, no inexperienced and a decent damage output. We don't feel like being teachers.
-
Kings fall is awesome, that does suck a bit though I'd say 290 is fine

That's because it takes a lot longer when you're teaching people and not everyone has time. Just make a post saying you're new and looking for some people willing to guide and people will join you, no doubt. Just because they aren't posting saying they're looking to teach new people or don't care if you're experienced or not, doesn't mean they aren't there.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von t_blades: 10/6/2015 1:09:40 PMSo i posted on LFG yesterday, Had two friends with me both of whom were raid virgins. I was open about it in the post and asked for 290+. Got 3 ppl very quickly. 1 other Virgin and two experienced guys looking to help out. We did it in 2:30 and it was one of the best runs i've had. Warpriest 2nd attempt, Golgoroth 1st attempt, Daughters 1st attempt and Orix 4th or 5th attempt If you do not qualify for any groups posting on LFG then make your own. You'd be surprised at how many people are looking to help people out.
-
I haven't gotten to play all that much but I still got my first character to 296 before I ever had time to step into the raid.
-
2 AntwortenI can say that 295 for the oryx checkpoint is the only realistic requirement. The rest of the raid can be run easily at 290.
-
Just find a Sherpa or a group that is new.
-
295 light is cake. And hate to tell you bro, the new raid isn't easy. It takes communication, team work and people to listen and do their jobs. One person not doing that they need to and the whole thing goes to shit. This isn't Crota. You can't solo this. Stop crying and get your level up.
