No one should ever tell you, that you can't do something you love. Then can advise you to do addicting things a little less but they can't just tell you to stop something you like (to an extent). I'd say either she compromises or you ditch her. Try to get her into it if you can. Let her play more than you.

You should have a discussion as to why she feels you shouldn't play anymore. Then find a way to compromise so that you can play less and spend more time with her. She probably just wants to spend more time with you, so if you talk to her and figure out a way to give her the time she wants, you can work out a way to still play and get what you want.
