I never got to play the HoW. I started playing destiny again a day after the 2.0 patch. I would like to enjoy the content i paid for but cannot. The nightfall/ heroics / vendors / crucible / ToO isnt and should not be considered "end game content" .... Only the raid should. Because with that model, you end up locking people out of content. A real easy fix would be to just put difficulty modifiers on everything and to increase a vendors stock, not replace it. I swear Bungie does not know how to make a video game.

That stuff is end game though. It drops loot that is top tier. It makes no sense for them not to make it require 280 light.
-
The ability to replay a story mission or strike is end game content..... My god this game is terrible. Bungie needs to learn game design.
-
Game is great, if u think it is terrible then stop playing pretty simple. There are plenty of games I think are terrible and i just don't play those games
-
You can still replay them. Don't act like you can't.
-
BUT WHATS THE -blam!-ING POINT!!! THOSE MISSIONS AND STRIKES ARE -blam!-ING LEVEL 20 WHY WOULD I WANT TO PLAY THAT LOW LEVEL GARBAGE. Just give me a -blam!-ing difficulty modifier.
-
What's the point of playing it when there is a modifier?
-
It gives me a challenge and i could also earn loot that is appropriate for my level.
-
But it should. Because it's endgame, and includes new content. Content that requires purchase to be accessed.
-
Look at WoW. Expansions add new content. They don't take existing content and update it to the standards of the newest expansion. Thats just terrible game design which ends up screwing over half your player base.
-
So your solution is limiting endgame content to cater to the needs of those who haven't expanded? Nightfalls and Weeklies should all be level 34 with 170 recommended light, when those who dedicated their money to expansion will be 280+ and level 40? What's the point of purchasing the expansion, then, easy time for big rewards? I understand your argument about the difficulty modifier. While that is a good idea, Nightfalls and Weeklies should include the new content in their playlist, as many gave their money for them to be in there. Unfortunately for you, that limits those who haven't expanded. But reinforces the point, if you like the game, then purchase the expansion.

No just have a difficulty modifier to accommodate for all lvls
-
That wouldn't solve the issue of players who haven't bought TTK having access to TTK content in Nightfalls and Weeklies.
