To basically summarize everything i previously wrote and meant: Can the bladedancer insta-kill opponents from across the map and even get multi-kills in the process? No. Can the gunslingers withstand a headshot from a sniper rifle or another gunslingers super or even two bursts from a gun like the messenger? No. Can the voidwalker use his novabomb 5+ times within a few seconds? No. Can the sunsinger regenerate health after each grenade kill? No. Can the striker use titan smash 5+ times within a few seconds? No. Can the stormcaller kill people across the map, regenerate health in the process and withstand a sniper rifle headshot or a gunslinger shot? No, and lets not even mention the poor defender guy (compared to the others, he does not have nearly as many "privileges" as the other classes do. Respect to anyone who plays it proudly).
A minor nerf to the armor buff of the sunbreaker then that's it, it would be just fine then. Because the sunbreaker can do all the things mentioned above (the "5+" ability use refers to the hammer throw), it's totally cool right? Or is that too much for you titans? Will it mean that you (as a player, NOT the class) will go back to being shit in the cruicible? It sure looks that way, why else would you be crying whenever someone says the word "nerf"? And to clarify things, i don't give a rats ass about pve, you guys could have infinite supers there for all i care. I'm out.

8 AntwortenTitans don't understand just how little skill is needed to kill an entire team with it, you might as well be invincible with that insane damage reduction and any crap player would still kill everyone because of insane aim assist and radius.

Stop complaining

Your skills need a buff. Adapt damn it. I did, and I do wreck Sun Bros now.
Try supering them too?
6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Amally: 9/18/2015 1:03:09 PMMy last couple of games (combined 4.13 KD in 5 games) will tell you how insanely powerful this super is. I was destroying kids so much so that I had guaranteed breaker medals with every super. The armour buff, tracking hammers, the duration of super, AoE damage, and health regen not only on super but melees and grenades as well make this class the best PvP class in the game. Does it need a nerf? For sure. It has too many positive aspects and not a single negative to it. It defies Bungie's philosophy of balance. Just my two cents.

Wow, these threads do exist. Feels good to finally have someone complain that Titan is op finally
-
"PEOPLE COMPLAINED about the blade dancer deal with it" THE BLADE DANCER WAS NERFED SKR3BZ. Titan and warlock super should be next.
-
2 AntwortenIt's sad that because the Titan gets a subclass that is distantly similar to bladedancer and gives them the option of a slayer that it is immediately considered overpowered....
-
SO REDICULIOS TO HIT A TITAN WITH A BOW DEAD ON THEN HAVE HIM HAMMER ME FROM FURTHER.... FKING WHAT? BS I OUT PLAYED YOU
-
We have had the worst subclasses for a year. Now that we have a good one everyone cries "Nerf, Nerf, Nerf".

19 AntwortenMy Main and first class ever was a titan. And from day one everyone knew titans where the under dogs, having to deal with self rez and golden gun and void walker. No one like you complained. And don't get me started on you only being able to stop us with a super. How's that blade dance work? Invincible and insta health plus shield every kill. Only way to counter is team shoot or super ... Sounds familiar. All I have to say is this...paybacks a bitch. It's our turn now :)
-
Titans are the worst so they need to have an op subclass to make up for it.
-
To OP, Because a lot of people most likely have rare chest pieces that all or nearly all give increased armor when using solar subclass, you don't 1 shot hammer of sol users with sniper headshot or golden gun. When the HoS user doesn't have that kind of chest piece on, you can one shot them with the things I stated earlier. Check my Titan if you want proof

Another snitch

Bearbeitet von gtmadman: 9/19/2015 7:09:51 AM
the sunbreaker simply cannot be stopped by conventional means (unless the entire team is focusing him, even that is not an guaranteed kill) – if he uses the correct perks he will become an invincible killing machine (the cauterize perk enables so that every kill recharges his health to 100%) and the armor buff is INSANE, you need an entire team friring at him to drop him.
This is true.
Shotguns are useless unless the sunbreaker is being directly flanked by two or three of those (going in 1v1 vs a sunbreaker titan does not end well).
I agree here.
...it can wipe out an entire team of six people within seconds without even breaking a sweat because of its powerful hammer throw and perks. And there is no way to defend this because NO other super in the game is capable of doing so without being effectively countered without the use of another super
I have an objection to this statement. I recall a very popular super that tends to wipe entire teams while regenerating health every kill. I understand you can shotgun-melee a bladedancer, but let's not pretend Titans are the only class that can do this.
An easy way to fix this is to reduce the titans armor during his super, so that you can counter him in a 1vs1 situation (just like the bladedancer) without having to use a super.
I do agree that any super should be possible to counter without another super. I don't agree that Titans should die to a shotgun-melee. There needs to be some appeal to the subclass competitively or it just becomes an inferior version of bladedancer. Hunters are supposed to be agile; they get high agility and blink. Titans are supposed to be supertanks rocking crazy armor. Titans should be trading mobility (blink) for armor, but I'm not so sure Titans should be moving 40mph around the map with increased control. That's outside their job description. Make it so it's possible to range the titan by gaining distance and sniping/headshoting. As it is, a Titan can chase you down easily if they understand their jump. That's why it's lethal. Can't fight close quarters, can't run away.

The only thing that needs to change is the amount of health they get during the super. Make it equal to a bladedancer or lower. Problem solved. A ranged super with that much offensive power needs some drawbacks. If you want more health during your super, use sunspots. GG gets no health boost. Bladedancer gets a health boost but has to be in shotgun range for a kill. Titan hammertime gets the a health boost of a bladedancer plus some with greater killing ability than golden gun, tracking on hammers, and AoE explosions. It also can also grant an overshield. The grenades and melees suck, but currently the only effective counter to the Titan super is to give up or run away.

Another Hunter complaining...
-
Top 1% doesn't matter BTW and as far as the super goes its fine. It like EVERY super has a counter if you have no problem dealing with the super than why post about it ?
-
-
GIve me a break like the constantly sprinting no aim Storm trance or the void snares all over the place Shadow shot aren't op either.
-
I played 1 year against bladedancers, goldenguns, and blink shotgun as a defender. I think youll be fine
-
Good points, but people complained about almost every other classes super. Hunter and it's golden gun can decimate a whole fire team clumped up on control point with its explosion round, which is exactly like the new hammer super of the Titan. People gonna complain about the Hunters new supportive super being too op and same for Warlock and its arc lighting and on and on and on. It will never end
-
Welcome to the receiving end of what Titans felt like in year 1, either way, it's stoppable, I've shotgunned many sun breakers. Most just spam the button like idiots and don't even hit me.
-
1 AntwortenHaha, just shoot them. They don't have extra armor unless they stand in a sun spot
