well youve gone too far bungie. i logged on today to get my chars lvled and light lvl up but guess what? i cant lvl above 34 because i dont own TTK. Really bungie this is just beyond retarded this is going to screw over ToO and I.B so bad and make it not playable by those who don't own the DLC. also you lock things from Vanilla behind a Paywall. Well done. why do i say that about I.B and ToO? well think about it those who do not own TTK can only go to lvl 34 while those with it can go to 40. that's a 6 lvl difference and you start being immune to enemies 4 lvls below you. essentially turning the DLC into official Pay 2 Win. which is something that does not belong in a $60 Title. i cant even do Heroic strikes to get Marks. and the crucible playlists like Control and Rumble i cant Play because they now require TTK and let me tell you guys this now. from what ive seen and heard TTK is not worth $40 its worth $20 at best. also there are Patrol missions on earth for example with enemies that are lvl 40 making it impossible for people who cant lvl above 34 to complete them. Proof? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StPeyUDP788 so from vanilla they locked away. -Crucible playlist's -Heroic strikes -Nightfall -I.B and Keep in mind those require you to be lvl 40 or have TTK to play. not so much with I.B but the fact you being a 34 at best with a team of lvl 40's on the other team is going make it impossible for you to play because they will easily 1 shot you and you cant damage them at all. Bungie this seriously Needs to be addressed and is a Major Issue. and before people be like "Oh they always locked the lvl cap behind a DLC. ya but a Whole 6 lvls? to the point where you cant damage anyone at that lvl cap in I.B at-least when i was lvl 30 and lvl 32 going against those who were lvl 32 and 34 respectively in TDB and HoW's i could actually stand my ground by taking a few hits and living and damaging them. but here i wont be able to even hurt them and they will just kill me with 1 shot. and then im guessing the gear that comes from Saladin will require Lvl 40 making I.B completely Useless for non TTK owners. and then there's the issue with vendor gear also requiring lvl 40. why couldn't it be lvl 34 but giving some high Def and attack? i will not be paying $40 for Over priced content that needs to lock Vanilla content behind it to justify its price. i might as well just sell the game at this point. since they want to Bully you into buying their new DLC. Edit: to those who are in the same Boat as me let me know if anything else has become impossible to do since the change and launch for TTK with content you already own.
