Other accounts cant access taken king on console that it was bought in

5 AntwortenSo I downloaded Destiny, my wife and I both leveled up characters on our Separate accounts. I bought the season pass, we both beat all the story on our separate accounts. I bought the Taken King, and it won't let her access it on her account?! If there is no fix for this, I refuse to buy it again, and I would like my money back since I don't want to continue playing if my wife cannot also play. Get at me soon or I will raise hell!

3 AntwortenHey TC I was messaged with a possible solution to your problem, feel free to add it to your post with credit to Ruzude "Gonna go into a little more detail this time. In my house there are two Xbox 360s, my brothers and mine. I bought the taken king legendary edition on his Xbox so he would be given the license which lets anyone on the Xbox play the game with the owner(me) needing to be signed in. Well when taken king launched it said my brother had to buy himself and he wasn't able to use the license. So I was able to get it working by signing into my account on his "licensed" Xbox and deleting the "taken king/suros/taken king weapons" files from his storage, starting up legendary edition and downloading them all again. I then stayed signed into my account but also signed into his account and started destiny with his controller so that it would sign him into destiny servers, it let me play the the taken king campaign from his account(it didn't before) so I turned off his Xbox completely and booted back up and only signed in as him and it worked" I hope it works, and thanks again to Ruzude

Hey there: I personally haven't encountered this. My wife and I play on PS4. My account is the Master account through which all purchases are made. Her account is one of the Sub-Accounts. She does not have PS+, only I do. I know her Primary System is our PS4. Like I said, we aren't having this issue. She is literally playing with her clan right now!

PS4. Can everyone try deactivating as the primary account for the system, then activating again, then log into second account to see if the content is available?

Ps4- working fine for both accounts, only bought for one. Make sure all of your accounts are set to use the console as their primary console, and ONLY install Ttk on the account the rest of the stuff was bought on. Then it works fine.

I'm starting to think bungie isn't looking into/doesn't care very much about our problems. We haven't even had someone from bungie tell us that it's either being looked into or that the whole having to buy all the expansions and TTK on every account on a single system is working as intended.
