Boy did bungie just shit on a whole lot of people.
ToO unavailable entirely without TTK. Even though we already paid for it with the HoW DLC.
Nightfalls, dailies, and heroics now unavailable without TTK. Which we originally purchased by buying Destiny at launch.
Several other things.
So, bungie said, "buy the expansion or we will remove access to multiple things you've already purchased."
Hot damn, can't wait for more threads coming out later on this topic.
Throwing in some edits for the hell of it:
-basically beta tested year one just so they could get our feedback and make the game resemble something that should have been at launch, but guess what, you have to pay $40 to play a game that the community basically fixed.
-if you haven't/don't buy TTK, you basically only have a demo left to play. Everything that was in the Vanilla version, TDB, and HoW pretty much all had to be repurchased to access again. (Fućking REALLY ?)
Ran out of enough fućks to give to add more points. :/ I'll leave that to Maphisto and/or Sols.

This isn't the mentality that Bungie has been known for. The Halo titles didn't lock people out if they didn't have map packs but who knows... Players such as myself should have at the very least access to to the Crucible akin to how L20 Strikes are available. This paywall nonsense is a blam! block for the sake of a few extra dollars in their pockets. TDB and HoW should at the very least be offered as a discounted bundle seeing that it's largely obsolete content. I shouldn't have to sell my vanilla Destiny and repurchase it as a TTK edition just to get my hands on this content at a reasonable price. ( About $50 vs. $80 )

To all you people fighting with bungie, each other, activision: Take that fight to Washington, law makers etc.. Its time to get off the forums now; its getting old and not working.

5 AntwortenHaving purchased the previous extension passes and not wanting to see them as a dead duck......I nearly took the legendary TTK physical copy back and bought MGS HD collection for £15, & Far Cry 4 for £18 they would have lasted me ages....but with previous DLC on my HDD......I'm just gonna play the hell out of TTK, and Bungie can kiss my backside for the next DLC........ I'll wait till year 3 or 4 Destiny and see if Bungie has improved its ways of respecting the gamer........ What a way to build a game with great mechanics and style, and then screw over all the fanbase time after time No matchmaking, slow server connections, constant patches, RNG!!! Blam YOU! (NO, Those dance emotes were not worth the money!)

14 AntwortenIt's not illegal if true, however, if this is the case and you purchase something and it is no longer fit for the purposes it was purchased for Bungie by Law has to correct this under the consumer act or we can seek 2nd tier compensation, as long as Bungie refuses to change this if indeed true. I posted in regards to the party system and the content we are able to access without 3rd party tools and again, if Bungie fails to implement something to change this and due to their inept failure to put in place a system whereby we can access the content we purchased i.e all endgame content, 2nd tier compensation! Basically guys and girls if enough players banded together Bungie by law has to rectify these problems or compensate. I have read packaging and seen the promos and nowhere does it state that players need a friends list required to play a vital part of the game so again this gives us valid argument. By UK consumer law if a product does not fit the description and purpose it was designed for then that product by law has to be rectified or compensated, check your areas consumer rights. How many players and especially the new year 2 players will be buying TTK and think they will be kicking Oryx into touch, sorry guys you need a friends list. So, Bungie only retort in regards to endgame is to blame player skill and presume that we are all inept enough to not converse if these Raids etc if made available to everyone, defamation of character on a global scale, wow. Safety in numbers guys, search under my tag and bump my post in ref to and I'll keep an eye open, if enough bumps received I can make a petition.
