Please stop using the code generator!
Sorry, I need to rant...
I tried to redeem the Red Bull codes on 8 cans this morning and 7 of them had already been redeemed. I had to go through a bunch of crap to try to prove that I had indeed bought the cans and there's no guarantee that they'll give me the rewards that I paid for. $28 and nothing to show for it cause some jackass wants a free ride...
For every code that gets generated, someone who legitimately paid for them is getting screwed. I hope there will be repercussions for those who are caught.

So, there are thousands and thousands of codes thrown away everyday. You might be one unlucky guy that have 8 legit cans where 7 are already taken. Then don't feel like you can't jump the train and use the key gen yourself. Neither redbull nor bungie will miss out on you using it as they still sell a skit load of cans anyway...

I hope there will be repercussions to red bull for being so stupid as to use the same set stuff for every code! No one can prove that who turned. In didn't buy them. Sry to spoil your day but that's red bulls stupid mistake lol

Never once felt the need to use it. I'd rather not have any codes then steal codes from my fellow guardians.

18 AntwortenIn the end you pay for the can of drink not the reward/offer, it's like a voucher in a newspaper or a prize at the bottom of a cereal box. Red Bull could disqualify any used codes that were reported from the reward but they're more likely to just provide a new code to all the reported cases who provided proof of purchase since that's the simple way and companies are always more likely to take the easy route, hell they probably like this since it means ppl are buying even more Red Bull.

42 AntwortenThat's what happens when people decide to restrict content to geographical locations. Red Bull aren't selling cans with Destiny Codes in Europe... Suck it up or use a generator online? I think we all know the answer. If you want to blame someone, blame Red Bull for not making the codes available in every country with Destiny players.

I'm always working till close, so I drink a lot of red bull. Out of the 15 codes I had, only 8 worked. So you bet your ass I generated the other 7. It's only fair.

Some random kidd could have taken a picture of Ur cans in the store and used the codes.... And maybe those generators werent needed as much if more guys like you shared the extra codes with people who cant get codes instead of using dozens of em for them selves? On that note wth do some people think they need 100+ focused light anyway?

I've had issues like that before. Red Bull will get back to you, it just takes a few days. They will email you with a code to use on Bungie.net. As long as you can upload a picture of the can tab then you should get a response.

1 AntwortenNot to justify it, but it's all Bungie/Ativision/Redbull's fault, why make a USA only promotion for an internationally played game (which has actually a huge gamerbase). Yeah, ppl are taking away other's "fun", and that's not right, but on the other side, you can use the generator too, without paying, and supporting a stupid campaign like this.

Why do you want a game where you have to buy something outside of it just to get extra content sooner than some other people?
