I always imagined that, way back in the dawn of Destiny, the first three Hive- a Knight and his Acolytes- stepped out that door to look around and report back on whether the area was clear or not. They never reported back. The Hive, not being exceptionally intelligent at that level, just keeps sending out more groups of three to check on what happened to the previous groups. "Did Hive Recon Group 7,591 Bravo report back yet?" "No, sir!" "Recon Group 7,591 Charlie, you're up! Get out there and find those other 197,368 Recon teams, and tell them to get to work!" [spoiler]EDIT: Thanks, everyone who replied and liked this little post. My only goal was to provide a little amusement. I had no idea it would take off right along with the main thread![/spoiler]

4 AntwortenI'll pour some liquor out for all those who have sacrificed themselves in the name of glimmer/orb/exp/idol farming. Shame the whole 'jump up against the far ceiling to trigger respawn' thing seems to have been patched out. Oh well, back to running up and down stairs :D

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Zynastor: 9/13/2015 5:22:57 AMthe venus strike is easier. it doesn't involve retracing 5 minutes of travel and it has a 15 second respawn elite, full at Ember Caves. It is also simpler to do if your team wishes to go on without you. I recommend for void walkers, the increased orb drop and spawn kill the elite.

7 AntwortenI need 2 warlock who are at the point of the quest where you need to get 7 orb nova bomb kills, 3 times in a single strike. We run omnigul or sepkis prime strike and go to these hive dudes first. It'll probably just take awhile and we can all do it at them then complete the strike. Add lastlaff69 on PS4 if interested.

2 AntwortenI'm going to miss them... ( 5 years later ) the first destiny is the only thing I have to play. I'm lvl 90 and with every single item in the game. And I look back at the first day I got this game, [spoiler]" over here there's loot! " said my friend. " ok cool!" [/spoiler] I run over and those hive are there staring at me. I shoot then, in a flash " guardian down " . I go to the spot where they were and I try to relive that moment. I can't. there's just a chest with matrieials I don't need. But then I hear a roar and I smile. One blow in the head with a auto rifle, just a pile of bones and ashes. I go to orbit and think about hive for 9 hours. ( Another year later. We can be friends with anything ) so I go to earth. Tame the knight. Bring him to the highest point on the map and I hug him. I then push him off the edge of the cliff and he dies. 1 AntwortenI still remember the day I first met the hive down in that dark building. My family was going through a rough time... my son had just been novabombed at school for 3 days in a row, I found out my wife was cheating on me with a self res who would just kill himself when I came home and res when I left, and finally the worst of all I needed to farm glimmer for hours if I was to support my family. I wandered around the cosmodrone looking for enemies to kill for glimmer when I came across the Hive. It was simply the best experience ever, the hive never left and kept coming. Eventually i stopped killing them and now i have 3 lifetime friends who I can rely on to have my back. Shoutout to you Hive Knight, and the two alcolytes, you guys hive my respect.
