That omolon field test sniper...
Is probably the WORST weapon I've used in this game. Holy shit I can't stand using it, why is every other sniper so much better.
Idk, it's just something about it. Feels very clunky to me. Curious as to how other guardians feel about this one.
Oh, and it does 100 (even less at long range, wtf is up with the damage falloff?) to the body. Pathetic damage for how pathetic it performs.
To those of you claiming that "they're just test weapons", I understand. They're not supposed to be amazing. However, this particular sniper just felt awkward to use. All of the other test weapons seemed perfectly usable to me, just not this one

Edit 2: I KNOW IT'S COMMON/TEST WEAPON, YOU DON'T NEED TO KEEP POSTING THAT. I'm not trying to argue that it should be an amazing weapon, I'm fully aware of how the armsday system works. I'm simply saying that this one just seemed less usable than the others for me.
Edit 3: Basically I just wish I had the intervention from Modern Warfare 2 in this game XD. What's your favorite sniper from any game that you wish you could have in Destiny?

1 AntwortenIt's funny...I don't use snipers at all in PVP. But I enjoyed using this gun. Yes, the impact was awful but it just felt good to use. I wouldn't mind a more powerful version of the weapon that felt the same way.

Had no problem finishing with precision shots. Didn't notice body shots.

It performs pretty good, aim assist feels mid level, maybe you just need to git gud OP

I managed to drag scope headshot someone out of midair with it. Such a satisfying kill. Its kinda crappy but nowhere near as crappy as the test fusion rifle that shot cream puffs

Its a test weapon so it shouldnt be a beast gun, the actual snipers thats legendary would be stronger or have better perks

6 AntwortenUm bro the two snipers are nearly identical. They both kill with 1 headshot or 2 bodyshots, there doesn't appear to be a high autoaim boost to either and they're both great.
