That omolon field test sniper...
Is probably the WORST weapon I've used in this game. Holy shit I can't stand using it, why is every other sniper so much better.
Idk, it's just something about it. Feels very clunky to me. Curious as to how other guardians feel about this one.
Oh, and it does 100 (even less at long range, wtf is up with the damage falloff?) to the body. Pathetic damage for how pathetic it performs.
To those of you claiming that "they're just test weapons", I understand. They're not supposed to be amazing. However, this particular sniper just felt awkward to use. All of the other test weapons seemed perfectly usable to me, just not this one
Edit: Bedtime folks! If you haven't tested these weapons yet, go do so and give me your opinion. Hakke vs omolon sniper, my vote is hakke all the way. Good night, and good luck guardians.
Edit 2: I KNOW IT'S COMMON/TEST WEAPON, YOU DON'T NEED TO KEEP POSTING THAT. I'm not trying to argue that it should be an amazing weapon, I'm fully aware of how the armsday system works. I'm simply saying that this one just seemed less usable than the others for me.
Edit 3: Basically I just wish I had the intervention from Modern Warfare 2 in this game XD. What's your favorite sniper from any game that you wish you could have in Destiny?

I can't help but seem to feel weird with the weapon... I can get headshots pretty well with most snipers, but that Omolon sniper feels so different...

It's supposed to be somewhat shitty. It's a test weapon. They aren't going to give you a badass sniper on the first go.

omolon was a pain for me the hakke sniper i could pot head shot easily

The scope is so hard to aim for me, it feels like working with a blindfold would be a better sight then this thing

It handles well at close quarters, but not at a distance.

2 AntwortenI'm not the best sniper, but I managed to pull off quite a few head shots where I thought to myself 'Did I actually just make that shot?' I quite liked it.
