Am I the only one ok with Nolan north?
His acting style is more shy and curious, where dinklebot was more generic emotions. He was more bland with a few emotional lines we've grown attached to. Yes I wish Nolan's voice was deeper but aside from that it's fine.
Many of you have heard his "we've woken the hive!" line and say it's more "we've woken the hive?"
What I heard from that was basically "(oh shit...) we've woken the hive!" and he sounds more shocked/scared
I just think everybody is used to Peter and it's hard to adjust
Edit: it seems most people don't mind him either. There are the occasional haters. My personal favorites are

Nolan North is AWESOME Nolanbot is TERRIBLE Destiny is like the CoD community High Pitch voices remind people of squeakers or gays. People hate squeakers and gays. Dinklebot sounded omniscient since he is a machine with a conscious Nolanbot sounds like a little C3PHoe Dinklebot had a deep narrative voice Nolantbot has a weird coward voice [spoiler]i don't hate gays or squeakers but I do hate cowards[/spoiler]

Nothing wrong with either actor. I had a tough time with Nolan's voice at first, but over time I got use to it- now I prefer it. Some lines are a little off though; might be that the written dialogue is more to blame than either actors performance. All-in-all, I think the higher pitch will work moving forward. There were too many deep monotone voices in the game & this breaks up the flow. Plus, a little light with a little voice is fitting.

Lol personally tho i have a girlfriend and play while she sleeps so i never have the volume up. Only had to hear the game the first time anyway, captions are your friends guys. Am i the only one who was cool with dinklebot, mainly because i never hear the game? I have to assume alot of players on ps4 xb1 use spotify and other stuff anyway. I guess this is just bungie giving into peer pressure?

I was still thinking what that voice reminds me and "homosexual C3PO, one Valium away from a coma" is the right comparision. That will be a very long time to get use to that annoying squeaking.

He does a good job in most scenes, but he does have some bad lines on occasion. Overall, I like him better.

I'm fine with Nolan and think he does a better job of giving the ghost an actual personality. Yes, he's a robot but also a companion you spend a lot of time with on your adventures so you want some personality. I have no issue although I too think they could have synthesized the voice not quite as high. Had Destiny launched with Nolan, this may have been much less of an issue. Change a main character in any way after launch and you're just asking for some discontent from several folks. However... When Destiny launched Bungie seemed to be pushing this more serious tone to the game, and Dinklebot seemed to reflect that. If you'll notice the latest trailer and also the live action sequence, it's much more relaxed and almost comical. This ghost does seem to fit that emphasis better.

I think both of them delivered a stellar performance. What wasn't so stellar was the blah dialogue they had to work with.

I like Nolan's voice acting, though I knew going in that it would be extremely extremely hard to top Dinklebot's "We've woken the hive" and "It's in the walls" lines.

Some of it is a rare miss for North - Dinklage's "It's in the walls!" read as "Look out! It's in the walls!" while North's is more (looks up from his smartphone) "It's in the walls." No sense of urgency. And Dinklage's nervous "Where's his ghost?..." becomes a petulant "Where's his ghost? Well? Where is it? He said he'd meet us here!" Overall though, I'm surprised how little I care.

I'd rather have Arnold Schwarzenegger play as the ghost just imagine GET TO THE CHOPPER I MEAN SHIP in the first TTK mission and have the ghost cuss in general its a t-rated game damit xD
