Path of the voidwalker quest is impossible.
Completing a strike while generating 7 orbs with a nova bomb 3 times. Is it me or is this just impossible to do [b][u]SOLO[/u][/b]?
Majors drop 3 orbs and you can only make a max of 7 orbs. Wearing the nemesis helmet doesnt help. It used to be 4 orbs per major and 8 orbs max.
Now with this new handicap try doing this quest in a strike where everyone else is also chasing orbs.
Way to go to make a pve quest competetive. Just damn retarded it is.
Edit: best advice that has been posted is the devils lair strike and just go all the way to the back right at spawn. A group of vandals spawn that can generate 7 orbs. Or go back to the beginning of patrol and go down where the 3 hive majors are. Its cheesing but i see no other way besides doing it in a fireteam.

Undying mind with light beyond nemesis equipped. you have several chances even in the final section.

Best advice is to do the undying mind strike it took me three annoying tries but I eventually learned where all the enemies spawned plus if you have light beyond nemisis it will give you more orbs

Also try the undying mind strike, there is a part where a ton of majors just come out and rush at you. Roll with some buddies and have them orb feed you.

Do omnigul strike but when u spawn go back on sparrow to patrol spawn point and super the three hive in room downstairs. Do 3 times then finnish strike

5 AntwortenWhy do people keep suggesting that?, there is literally a fountain of majors on Archon Priest, and if you wear any orb generating gear it gives you 4 orbs for the first kill, 3 for the second, and 1 for the third.

Wear light beyond nemesis, omnighul strike, when the thrall come out. Bam.

I did both path in 1 strike on devil's just killing foes outside then i did the strike

Obsidian mind and bad juju if you have them are what I used got it done no problem.

Undying Mind Solo fam, listen to music or watch videos while grinding super charges

I just ran a Nightfall solo, then got my orbs, then finished it.

4 AntwortenYou know, I was noticing that I seem to make less orbs from supers, Nova Bomb in particular. Why did Bungie Nerf the amount of orbs that you can make? I can only imagine how hard this hitting the Blade Dancers Arc Blade.

Just made a walkthrough on how to complete Path of the Voidwalker part 8 fairly easily. You don't need any special weapons or armor. Just follow these steps on the Devil's Lair strike to gain your reward! Spread the word! Zg Green Panda and I (Zg Orange Panda) both completed it first try. I just played like normal and generated 7 orbs 3 times. No tricks necessary.

My friend did it with this week's nightfall. Me and another went in to help him. Lots of majors spawn and it's easy to kill them without having to weaken them because of void burn.

I was struggling with this but then i found out how to do it. Firstly you put on your exotic helmet, Light beyond nemesis. This has keeper of the pack perk on your helmet which increases orbs from your super. Then simply run a winters strike, on venus but instead of going to the cave go to the citadel and when you get your super up from the surrounding enemy vex, you simply go across the bridge to the 2 yellow sub boss minotaurs. Shot gun them both till there very low while running around and jumping and then when there both together use your super. = Gauranteed 7 and even sometimes 8 orbs. Hint: you need to repeat this 3 times, before the strike finishes. I did it tho with about 4 minutes to spare to end the strike ;) Good Luck ;)
