Path of the voidwalker quest is impossible.
Completing a strike while generating 7 orbs with a nova bomb 3 times. Is it me or is this just impossible to do [b][u]SOLO[/u][/b]?
Majors drop 3 orbs and you can only make a max of 7 orbs. Wearing the nemesis helmet doesnt help. It used to be 4 orbs per major and 8 orbs max.
Now with this new handicap try doing this quest in a strike where everyone else is also chasing orbs.
Way to go to make a pve quest competetive. Just damn retarded it is.
Edit: best advice that has been posted is the devils lair strike and just go all the way to the back right at spawn. A group of vandals spawn that can generate 7 orbs. Or go back to the beginning of patrol and go down where the 3 hive majors are. Its cheesing but i see no other way besides doing it in a fireteam.

I ran the devil's lair strike with two friends, and took turns killing the 3 Hive majors at patrol cosmodrome spawn. Takes five minutes at best.

Undying Mind. It's 7 orbs now for only two kills or something with super.

Do the nexus strike and right before the cave at the end. Theres a section where 9 vex spawn together along the cliff edge. Best place i have found kill then jump off the cliff and repeat

Run with a friends or ppl doing same and take turns. Nexus goblin at end is easiest place jump off cliff repeat finish strike

Start the weekly on 32 and run to where you first spawn on the cosmodrome and kill those 3 majors that spawn underground. If you have nemesis you only have to kill the 2 acolytes an you make 7.

6 AntwortenSteps to complete quest Step one- Equip Void Walker Step two- Equip OM/ Bad juju Step three- Hope RNGsus is on your side and you get Undying mind Step four- Launch Nova Bombs at Majors at the Stairs part. I completed this quest in one run on Undying mind on the steps so it can be done.

Solo the nightfall or do undying mind with two friends so you can get the kills

Did it on the undying mind. Its honestly a calewalk. Use the minortaur/goblin spawn at the steps to your advantage.

I did it 4 times on Omnigul. A friend completed it on Undying Mind.

3 AntwortenDid this yesterday using the Devil's Lair strike and headed back to the patrol point for the 3 major hives. First time I did it with Obsidian Mind but was having trouble getting all three hive with a single Nova Bomb. Today I did it again using Light Beyond Nemesis and was able to generate 7 orbs by killing only 2 of the hive. Getting all three gave 8 orbs. It was slower to get my super back but went faster overall.

Do the undying mind...you might not remember it because 90% would leave when it would come up in vanguard strike...also dont turn it in otherwise you wont get the emblem...

Just made a walkthrough on how to complete Path of the Voidwalker part 8 fairly easy. You don't need any special weapons or armor. Just follow these steps on the Devil's Lair strike to gain your reward! Spread the word! Zg Green Panda and I both completed it first try. It was 9 orb max now it is 8 I was having trouble soloing it to best way is to do omnigul.

Solo the nightfall. Nova bomb wrecks everything there and there are enough majors to create max amount of orbs.

Everybody saying go to Devil's Lair strike and go to the three hive majors. That's a crude way to go about it. I've tried twice and both times there was a player camping down there generating orbs not letting me do anything.
