Path of the voidwalker quest is impossible.
Completing a strike while generating 7 orbs with a nova bomb 3 times. Is it me or is this just impossible to do [b][u]SOLO[/u][/b]?
Majors drop 3 orbs and you can only make a max of 7 orbs. Wearing the nemesis helmet doesnt help. It used to be 4 orbs per major and 8 orbs max.
Now with this new handicap try doing this quest in a strike where everyone else is also chasing orbs.
Way to go to make a pve quest competetive. Just damn retarded it is.
Edit: best advice that has been posted is the devils lair strike and just go all the way to the back right at spawn. A group of vandals spawn that can generate 7 orbs. Or go back to the beginning of patrol and go down where the 3 hive majors are. Its cheesing but i see no other way besides doing it in a fireteam.

2 Antworteni did it on Undying Mind strike. there are so many yellow bars - its doesn't matter that your teammates are going for it as well. i was with randoms (no mics) and we were just feeding orbs to each other. i actually think i probably got 7 orbs to drops 5 times.

2 AntwortenGet friends to go with you to omnigul. Wait until the thrall all come out from the right. Nova bomb all that you can and you must kill the knight. Die. Repeat. Finish strike

Undying mind, when you get to top of stairs, get all your orbs there, die if you need to to respawn mobs

5 AntwortenPlay the devils lair strike and go all the way to the patrol spawn spot on earth. Go super those 3 major hive enemies in that underground area, then head back to finish the strike. Profit

3 AntwortenI went to Omnigul strike , turned around and went to that little building where you first spawn for patrol and killed those 3 hive majors 3 times and then went and finsished the strike best strategy i could come up with

Omnigul strike is the way forward. I did this the other day without even intending to on that strike, it should be finished by the time you get to the Fallen Dropship. [spoiler]you get a sweet looking L40 bond with great perks for doing it[/spoiler]

I'm struggling with this too. But what I really want to know is doing these quests required to get the new subclass quest? Or are these mainly for the new players and it's more of a preview of the new quest system? I know this week is a transition week until TTK but are these quests required to move on further?

I didn't make this up. The guy who did is a hero. What you do is do an Earth strike but go to where you spawn on patrol. The place underground that has the knight and two acolytes. You best do this with two friends. Weaken the knight, get them close to each other then blam. Me and two buddies did it easy last night.

I do all of mine in Winter's Run strike, the main area where you have to unlock the door has loads of majors, easy peasy, usually i get it from the hobgoblin side, but im sure you can get a one or so from the beginning minotaurs :)

I ran the devil's lair strike with two friends, and took turns killing the 3 Hive majors at patrol cosmodrome spawn. Takes five minutes at best.
