A post about autorifles and the lack of skill involved in using them
i see SO many posts about how people can't wait to break out suros, hardlight etc., and shit on people using hand cannons, as if they are finally going to see who the more skilled player is or something. obviously i'm a little frustrated with stupid shit like this, but i am legitimately trying to understand your line of thinking. how is laying on the trigger with a huge magazine, max stability, and no need to time shots or reacquire targets because you're just laying on the trigger and spraying a skilled thing? in what universe does it make sense that an auto rifle should have a faster ttk in ANY situation than a hand cannon?
EDIT: i guess now i know how it felt for guys that used autorifles before when they got nerfed. i honestly am ok with the autorifle buff, but not at the expense of nerfing handcannons to the point of being worthless. that sounds pretty familiar. touche auto rifle users, touche. there is one thing that you are REALLY failing to realize, however. just like you were able to eventually adjust and use hand cannons, i will also adjust to laying on the trigger or tapping people with pulse rifles. i was able to kill you from pretty damn far away with a highly inaccurate tlw before in 3 shots. trust me, i will be able to use an autorifle or a pulse rifles. don't think my thumbs just all of a sudden stopped working simply because i have to adjust. you will still lose to those of us that were good with tlw. might not be overnight, but you will still lose. enjoy it while you can

Meh I'm not that much of a fan as to how auto rifles and handcannons function in destiny. Too clumsy or inaccurate for my tastes. Give me a pulse or scout rifle anyday.

People want balance... Hand cannons are made for close to medium range encounters.... That's where they should be good.... Not sniping people from across the nap cause they are so op and have the highest aim assist in the game... Auto rifles take just as much skill as hand cannons... Your just mad cause you can use your hand cannons as a crutch... Your post makes you sound like a salty scrub.

Because in the Universe of warfare an AR always beats a Handcannon.....it's not about skill, it's about kills. Put real bullets and real bad guys out there then choose between the hand cannon and AR.....I thought so

It has not been a DAY and the complaints have begun! Ok those out there who love ARs are excited to have them be viable again, and then you got others who are interested in witnessing the changes so they are pulling out what ever AR is sitting in their vault and will likely return to whatever weapon type the prefer, then you have the people who see a lot of people with a AR and think it's now the best weapon type in game and don't know better yet. At least give it a week to let it balance out before complaining that ARs are OP
