So how many Xbox one users getting a kinect when cortana comes to Xbox
I'm just curious if there are any Xbox one players out there that didn't get the kinect sensor in the beginning that want one when the Xbox gets the windows 10 update? There were a lot of people talking trash about the kinect and saying how stupid it was/is but I personally like mine and have liked it since day 1. I thought an extra 100 bucks for a 1080p voice control camera was more then a fair price and when we get cortana its going to make it 100% more useful so how many of you Xbox one gamers out there want to et a kinect for this update? (If any lol) and what are your thoughts on this big update? Playstation users please leave your thoughts and opinions too just don't turn this into a console war please and thanks.

1 AntwortenWhen I bought mine on Amazon they accidentally gave me one with a kinect instead of without (my initial purchase) so I was like alright lol I actually love the voice commands and his will be even better

1 AntwortenIf there's something I'll never buy for my Xbox1 is a kinnect, I just hope the cortana update improves the dashboard in general for people who use it manual like me I'd prefer to buy 2 games instead of getting kinnect

Right now if you don't have a Kinect you have to struggle with the complicated and counterproductive methods of navigating and doubletapping buttons to get to certain menus. It's a mirror of Windows 8, where everything worked nice, [i]if[/i] you had a touchscreen, otherwise it was clunky as hell. Hopefully the Windows 10 update will change it to where I won't have to ask Cortana to pull up the party menu if I want to open it, and I will have an actual user friendly way to do so like on the 360. Features should add to the experience, not inhibit those who don't use them.

I will not be getting kinect unless there are games that i want that use it. I got my xbox mainly for exclusives (ea access is pretty nice to, better to spend 30 a year over buying sports games at 60 every year).

I don't care how much people bash the kinect, the voice commands are a godsend. Kinect games are garbage though

1 AntwortenMy kinetic came in handy when my mic broke, cause now I use it as my mic. Can't do game chat, but can still talk in the party.

5 AntwortenI'm wondering to what extent we will be able to use Cortana. I know she'll send messages for us like voice-to-text but will that carry over to in game chat as well? It would be cool to use her to type in the comms box in Elite:Dangerous.
