Warlock nova bomb.
Why is the nova bomb the only super you can kill yourself with? Isn't that kind of unfair? If you have a reason that this is balanced I would like to know. Thanks.
Edit: Because people apparently don't understand what I mean. I can have full health as a warlock, throw a nova bomb and its own splash damage will kill me. Here in awhile I'll make a video showing how others supers literally cant do this for the people who don't understand. You can't cut yourself as a bladedancer or pop a round into your skull with a gunslinger. Nor can a titan smash his fist and hurt himself, even with aoe destruction. And the bubble? A nova bomb can.
Edit 2: bladedancing off the edge is not the same (IMO) because thats avoidable. A thrall rushing into my face intercepting my nova bomb is not.
Edit 3: I didn't throw the bomb at a wall. I repeat. I DID /NOT\ THROW MY NOVA BOMB AT THE WALL. Thanks. Also, do people know, one as playing CE. Trying to go solo by recycling my super with obsidian mind. Thralls keep jumping in front of me while I am under the effects of darkness.

You can blow yourself up with a grenade.......or a rocket launcher.....or the enemy exploding perk with golden gun or the sunsinger melee.........so why doesn't it make sense that the only giant exploding super can also blow you up?

3 AntwortenYou can kill yourself with golden gun I just stupidly but hilariously realised yesterday. I was doing a strike with my friends yesterday and accidentally blew myself up shooting a Dreg. We had a good laugh xD

Just be smarter about when you use it. If thrall jump in your way then throw a grenade and then nova. Never had trouble with this so in having a hard time understanding.

Hi I've been playing as a Warlock since the day HoW dropped. And I mean about 2-3 hours per day since it dropped. And I'm an asshole. Like, the biggest. And let me tell you, that throwing a nuke at anything, even a thrall, makes me much more happy than what should be reasonable. I throw nova bombs at single Thralls every bit as much as I throw them at bosses. And I have never, not once, killed myself with a nova bomb. So if you've really managed to do it, then my hat is off to you because I have been launching space nukes for the equivalent of two weeks in game at everything and anything at point blank range and I've never managed to kill myself

1 AntwortenTo balance out the fact that we can launch that thing almost half way across the map and has a huge blast radius. and I have yet to see a warlock die from it at full health. I point blank things all the time and I usually survive.

2 AntwortenYou get to throw it like a projectile, Titans have to get in close or have a pointless shield, take what you get others have it harder, killing your self with it is so its not a better Titan super

Nova Bomb is a range attack. You are not supposed to run it off point blank. Run a Titan with Fist of Panic, if that is your play style.

I've killed myself with this far more than I care to admit. I also use it to my advantage, though. If an enemy Warlock is rushing and going to nova bomb I rush him to tank the nova bomb, killing myself and him, allowing my team to live and take the control zone.

wrong, fist of havoc will kill you if you have the aftermaths on and you just linger a little bit.

I suppose it's just one if the dangers you face when throwing a massive orb of dark energy at someone stood 3 feet away from you :-P don't play with space magic if you can't handle the magic space magic ;-)

I go with harpoon and fire it from across the map... In PvE. Its great with void burn.

I've gotten used to using shatter and how high I have to aim for the three mini Nova nukes to hit their mark. Cleans up a battlefield nice in PVE and can wipe a good opening in PVP especially those who hide in the corner near a control zone.

Nova Bomb + Void Burn = total lack of personal safety. So many times I've killed myself trying to run through a Nightfall with my Voidwalker.

This is why I jump before using my nova bomb in pve and then jus simply blink away.

It must be classified as an explosion. There's no friendly fire so we shouldn't be able to kill ourselves it's as simple as that.

4 AntwortenBeen a warlock my whole time. Never had a problem. It's a -blam!-ing bomb for titties sake. It goes boom. You can get hurt by your grenades as well wanna prevent that too? Might as well include your own rockets in this too. And gravity. And your sparrow.
